The Golden Flower

Part 3

Today was Sehun's 15th birthday he was excited to some extent. His cousin Jongin or Kai was coming over. "Did you miss me Sehun." Jongin teased "No not really." Sehun chuckled at Jongin's expression. "I want you to meet someone." Jongin grabbed the hand of the boy next to him.

"This is Kyungsoo my boyfriend." Jongin said. "Your gay?" Sehun asked "Yes I am and I know you are too." Jongin smiled. "Whatever Jongin. It's nice to meet you. Hopefully my cousin hasn't bothered you to much." "Not at all. Nini is really sweet and he cares for me and treats me like a queen." Kyungsoo said. "Oooh so Jongin is whipped." A deep voice sounded through the hallway. "Chanyeol hyung I didn't know you were coming." Sehun spun around.

"I couldn't miss my dongsaeng's birthday. Neither could Baekkie." Chanyeol nodded to his boyfriend. "Yea and its good to see that someone can keep Jongin in line." Baekhyun said. "They walked out to the garden and swam in the pool.

"Guys can I tell you something?" Sehun asked. "Yea sure Hunnie you can trust us." They said. "Well I'm an Amethyst," Sehun fluttered his wings. "I knew it." Jongin shot up off the grass. "What do you mean you knew it?" Sehun asked. "There was just something magical about you. Oh and by the way. Kyungsoo and I are Peridots, Chanyeol and Baekhyun are Rubies." Jongin sat back down.

"You mean there are other clans?" Sehun stood up. "Yea of course. There is one clan that is no longer alive. They are called the Golden Rose clan." Jongin fed Kyungsoo a grape. "Why are they not alive." Sehun asked and popped a grape into his mouth. "Well long time ago a human king married the queen of the Golden Rose clan and they had many children. One day the king grew older and he got jealous of the clan because they never got old.

He ordered his soldiers to kill all of the clan because of his jealousy. Many escaped but many were either killed or died fighting them off. Eventually all the Rose's were found and slaughtered in the most gruesome ways. That's way our kind is hated, the reason way our clans haven't disappeared is because we have gotten smarter and learned how to conseal Our wings." Baekhyun finished.

"That's terrible. I'm worried about this." Sehun frowned."There is nothing to worry about." Baekhyun sighed.

In Sehun's opinion the party was quite bothersome. He was barely with his friends because his dad insisted that he greet everyone. His had already left and had escaped to his room. "I bet your glad that's over." Jennie smiled. "You bettcha." Sehun layer down on his bed.

"Mom have you ever heard of the Golden Rose clan?" Sehun asked. "Yes and it is quite a horrendous story of how that clan died." Jennie sat down by her son. "Sehun I love you with all my heart and I'll never let anyone hurt you." Jennie started crying. "I love you to mom why are yo-." The door burst open and Sehun watched has a sword was driven into his mothers heart.

"Sehun you aren't hurt my boy? That women was a despicable creature. I'm glad Seohyun warned me in time." Minjung said. "You killed my m-mother." Sehun sank down on his knees and hugged his mothers lifeless body. The queen's body turned into a pink stone necklace. Sehun picked up the necklace and held it close to his heart. "OUT EVERYONE OUT OF MY ROOM NOW!" Sehun yelled.

Everyone exited. "Why do you cry my child? Do you not know that your mother is anything but dead." A calming voice asked him. Sehun turned around. "Who are you?" He asked. "I am the goddess of Life Lee Chaerin. I have a gift for you." Charring bled out her hand and dropped something in Sehun's.

"A seed?" Sehun looked at Chaerin with a confused face. "Yes but this is a special seed. It is one of the Golden Rose seeds. So take care of it my boy and you will be rewarded."  Charring smiled. Sehun went to his closet and pulled out a pot and filled it with soil, planted the seed, and poured some water on it.

"Now sleep my child. Chaerin picked Sehun up and placed him in his bed.
