"Is it cliché if I say, 'That was amazing'" He said rolling over to face me.
"Not at all, you are my first man, and my first woman!" I joked, smiling back at his makeup covered face.
"I can't help but love you, because you love me for who I am, and that's not something I can say I have ever felt with anyone before. My first real girlfriend was your typical popular brunette, with thin eyebrows and a YouTube channel for makeup tutorials, but she didn't know me, and didn't want to know me. When I told her I had a secret she should know, she told me that she didn't want the baggage and all I was to her was a good lay, and the secret wasn't even the drag thing, It was that my mom was kicking me out so I wasn't going to see her that much anymore, an she didn't even care. I cried when I moved, and she got a new boyfriend before I had even had the chance to breathe. Now I know that though, that she wasn't right for me, and that I just wanted her because everyone else wanted her, but you though, you're different. You are beautiful, and smart, and accepting, and open, and you have no idea how much I appreciate those qualities in a person, I have just never seen them all at once." He paused, "You are a star!" He smiled really sappy.
"A star?" I asked.
"No, you are not a star, because there are an infinite amount of stars, you are just you, because there is only one for me." He whispered in a gritty voice.
"I don't know what to say." I stuttered.
"Don't worry about saying anything. I just want you to know that when I first saw you in the coffee shop, I knew I had to see you again, and fait be it, you fell right into my hands." He smiled.
"Wow, this sounds like it came from a romance novel." I giggled and smiled at him, meeting his gaze.
"no." he laughed, "I have just been practicing it since I first met you. So was it good? Did your best night get better?"
"Yeah it did, and your speech was the cherry on top." I smirked.
"Thank you, thank you!" he did an awkward sideways bow in bed that made me laugh. "You want to do it again sometime?" He winked.
"Absolutely!"
