Lord Monochromicorn carried Gumball on his back and was holding on to Fionna's arms while she was still in her pajamas.

"Hey Gumball. Where are we going?" Fionna asked confused and a little uncomfortable.

"I am terribly sorry to do this to you Fionna but I must speak with you about....something."Gumball said frantically looking in all directions like he was trying to avoid something or....someone.

Fionna didn't want to say anything mostly because she didn't know what to say so she just hung there uncomfortably waiting for them to land some where.

A few minutes passed and Fionna couldn't help it anymore she had to go to the bathroom so badly.

'Fionna's been really quite, maybe I should say something.' Gumball thought and he open his mouth to speak but Fionna beat him to it.

"Hey Gumball can we land soon I have to go" Fionna said blushing a little.

"Go? Oh no did I do something wrong?" he thought then asked. "Where do you have to be?"

"No I don't have to go I have to go." She was so embarrassed about how much she was squirming.

Gumball was still so confused "Go...go...go. Where does she have to...oh!" A look of realisation appeared on his face then it changed to a worried look. 'oh no' he thought as he lend forward on Monochromicorn telling him to land. Thankfully they already arrived to their location.

"...The candy castle" Fionna said curiously.

"Gumball, Cake and I were going to come in the morning....Oh no we forgot Cake!" Fionna said worried.

"Please don't worry Fionna Lord Monochromicorn will be with her for the time being" Gumball said as he motioned his hand towards Monochromicorn telling him to go. "I'm sorry to ask this but didn't you have to...go?

Fionna was so worried about Cake she completely forgot. She ran to the washroom in Gumballs room since thats where Monochromicorn dropped them off and did her business.

"Why am I in Gumball's room?" Fionna thought to herself while washing her hands hoping to think of one good reason but she only dralew blanks.

Fionna dried her hands and walked towards the door placing one hand on the door knob.

"Okay Gumball calm down. Be straightforward but not too bold and confident but not too arrogant". He gave himself a pep talk licked his hand and ran it through his gum hair to keep it in place. As he heard his washroom door open.

"Hey...so what's up Gumball?". Fionna asked as she walked towards his bed turned and jumped on it backwards to sit down.

He took a deep breath and walked towards her. Okay you can do this you can DO this, he thought sitting on the edge of his bed.

"Fionna..." He paused. "I came to your house yesterday and Cake said you were with M-Marshall lee...is that true?" Gumball asked nervously he was worried about what the answer would be.

Fionna blushed remembering their kiss. "Y-yeah we hung out yesterday." she tried to keep her answer short and simple hoping he wouldn't ask any more questions.

"What did you do together?". Gumball asked placing one hand on Fionna's thigh.

Fionna's heart raised but it wasn't like what happened with Marshall. she didn't feel anxious but she felt nervous almost, worried. She was so focused on his hand she didn't hear his question.

"Fionna" he said in a gentle tone. Her head shot up.

"What?" Fionna asked completely ignoring him.

"I asked what you two did...together" Gumball struggled to repeat himself.

"We just hung ou.."Gumball interrupted her. "Hung out where?".

Fionna slowly scooted backwards on the bed moving away from Gumball not knowing why he was acting so...strangely.

"We...umm...we just went to the graveyard for a picnic". She tried to say calmly.

"Really?! Is that ALL you did?!". Gumball sounded upset.

"Are you okay Gumball?". Fionna asked while getting off his bed. Gumball got up as well heading her way. He was now standing in front of her keeping her in between him and his bed.

"I just worry about you....Fionna". He lend towards her and whispered.

It sent a jolt to her spine forcing her to fall back onto the bed. Gumball had a serious look on his face and raised a hand to her face and caresed her cheek.

"I care about you Fionna". He said moving his hand to her chin tilting it up towards him. He slowly moved closer to her face.

Is he...is he really going to kiss me?! Fionna thought feeling her palms sweat and her heart rushing faster and faster. The closer he came the faster her heart raced she was completely frozen. Their lips were now inches away she could feel his breath he shut his eyes and then...
