None of us realized that we had been holding our breaths when he walked out of the shadows and into the light.

In a way, he was kind of the star of the whole show because we wanted to see what he would do after losing Lector.

I didn't know how Lector was feeling right now, but I'm pretty sure he was overwhelmed.

The crowd of girls behind me cheered for him and I kind of wanted to join in, but I was a fairy.

A bright light could be seen from one area, and a second later, we could all hear Sting's voice saying "Come and get me, Fairy Tail!"

The light was his dragon force.

The girls behind me went crazy over that and declared their undying love for him because he was so cool.

"He will win," A blonde girl behind me said, "And fairy tail can go back to hell where it came from."

That annoyed me a lot. I get it, you like Sting. Don't flaunt it because nobody cares.

And also, bitch, you can go to hell.

I decided to ignore them and focus on the screen. Everyone from fairy tail had heard the message loud and clear.

Every fairy tail member participating was hurt pretty badly and beaten up, but they decided to do what Sting said and began limping towards the light.

"Curse him," said Freed with gritted teeth right beside me, "Making Laxus-sama walk when he's hurt!"

"I know right," I added on to his statement, "If he wanted a fight, why couldn't he have just gone to them."

"Logically speaking, it makes a better tactic," Bixlow said.

"Better tactic, better tactic, better tactic."

"Shut up and let me complain in peace," Freed replied with a glare.

"And while you're at it, please shut your babies up," I piped in.

He just grumbled and walked off saying something about us being assholes while his babies repeated it.

On the screen, it showed all of the participants from our guild up against Sting, in the spot where he had beckoned them.

Some of them were limping and their clothes were half torn up, their body covered with bruises and scratches, but they all stood proudly.

"What a spectacular sight," Sting marveled, "All five of you wizards, which I looked up to seven years ago, and look where we are now."

"Can the conversation," Gajeel said, "This is the final battle. We'll take you out all at once."

"Well, with you injuries, fighting one on one would be painfully boring."

"Don't underestimate Fairy Tail," Erza said in a stern voice.

"I wouldn't dream of it," Sting replied in a sarcastic voice, "In fact, I respect all of you. . .and that's why I'm going to crush you all at once today. Watch me, Lector."

"Fine," Erza said, leaning on a stick for support, "If you want to fight so badly, we will give you a fight."

"That's what I wanna hear," Sting said excitedly.

'Lector, I hope you're watching this,' I thought, 'Sting loves you very much.'

And I was oddly happy, even though I shouldn't have been.

Erza took Gray's hand, who took Juvia's. She took Laxus', and he took Gajeel's hand.
All five of them were bloody and beaten, but still standing.

Something in Sting changed and he seemed to be shocked. His mouth was wide open and his dragon force disappeared.

His knees gave out and he fell to the floor, unable to fight.

"I give up."

At those three magical words, tears started flowing from his eyes, along with the other participants.

The only difference was that he was sad and the fairy tail participants were crying because of joy.

"THE WINNER OF THE GRAND MAGIC GAMES IS. . .FAIRY TAIL!"

"Sting-kun!!"

There he was, Lector, standing in all his exceed glory. Sting was still frozen jn shock and couldn't get the words out of his mouth.

"Sting-kun!!" The exceed said again, his eyes overflowing with tears.

The maroon exceed ran towards his best friend, who also did the same.

"Lector!" Sting cried as he reached out and scooped the little exceed in his arms.

Sting was finally reunited with his best friend and Fairy Tail had won the Grand Magic Games.

In ways more than one, we all soared to the top.

I wanted to deliver the news to Lucy, who was in the infirmary, so I asked Master if I could visit her.

"Oh, I never did tell you about it," Master said, "(Y/N), she isn't in there."
