How dare that idiot natsu. He didn't even greet me properly! The minute he saw me, profanities started tumbling out of his mouth like a spilled jar of marbles with Gray's head on them.
'Okay, y/n. That is exaggeration' I told myself, 'And why the hell did you even bring Gray into this?!'
"Y/N!!" I heard Happy's voice shout. I could tell that he was sobbing. I looked behind me and saw that Natsu and Happy were running behind me.
No, scratch that. Natsu was running while Happy was flying.
"What do you want?" I asked coldly.
"I'm sorry," Natsu said panting, "You were right. I didn't even think about you. But the thing is, seeing you after so long is going to cause that kind of reaction, isn't it? Especially if you're dead. So, I'm sorry."
"Natsu, are you sick?" I asked
"Huh?"
"I mean, you actually sounded........smart," I told him.
"Hey!" He protested, "I can even sound smart at times, okay?"
"I'm sorry too," Happy said.
"Okay then, guys."
"Huh?" They both looked surprised, "You're seriously forgiving us this easy?"
"Not really," I said with a grin, "You will have to buy me everything I want --- from ice cream to chocolates to pandas to some clothes to other things I want ---- which means you're going to go broke."
Natsu paled but nodded anyway.
"And by the way, natsu, happy," I said, "Next time, do not throw my ice cream and chocolate away. Don't think I didn't notice, but you're forgiven."
"Okay," natsu said, raising his hands, "Let's go to the guild and tell everyone that you're back. I'm the first one who found out who you really are, right? Except master Mavis."
"Actually, you're the sixth."
"What?" He said dramatically while clutching his head, "How? Who? What is going on? "
"Anyway, let's go back," I said.
~ time skip ~
We stood in front of the door to our guild's inn. That's when I remembered something. Something very bad...
"Natsu, stop!" I said.
"What's wrong?" He asked with a smirk, "You chickening out?"
"No, well, kinda."
"Don't worry sis," he said with a smile, "If anybody tries anything, I'll beat them to a pulp."
"Aye sir!" Happy added.
"I'm just....." I said looking down, "........not ready to face Gray."
"But ice princess was one of your best friends."
"Well," I said while playing with my hair, "He said something to me in the Grand Magic Games...."
"You're still chickening out." Natsu said, "If you go in, I'll give you some ice cream."
Oh my sweet God. Why the hell are you bribing me?
"Fine, I'll give in to your bribery."
"Now that's some serious determination," natsu said and my eye twitched.
Taking a deep breath, I slowly opened the door.
