Your head poked above the surface, a little ways away from the crowd of humans by the sand. With the summer sun high above your head, you were glad that you didn't have to leave the water-- and the larger than usual crowd told you that the humans were happy to be in the water. It was days like this, in places like this, where the humans themselves were so weird, so used to oddities that it was safer for many of the water's more humanoid creatures to come out and enjoy a little sun.
