Would you lie besides me and watch the moon?
to simply just breath
and release all despair
to be at ease
like the world consists of only you and me.

Nothing has ever been so beautiful
than the pale moonlight that glows on your skin
leaving such a fair thought within
we shan't need to utter a word
for the silence soothes us both
as we lay among the husky trees
whose leaves shine a bright emerald green
when the sunlight comes to lean.

Tell me would you feel safe
right here with me
even if night turned to day
along with the sorrows that wash away
as the stars seek out
and the sun comes to play
when we no longer have the moon
but the scattered dappled light
that falls on your skin
radiating a beauty within.
