Partners YAY

Lunch has come and it's time to face the war. Lisa won't give up on making my day horrible but I can't let that stop me. I AM A JUNIOR!!! Lena clenched her right hand into a fist at the thought. Walking in with her two best buds they got their food. Lena got potato soup with a salad, Abby got a sandwich, and Brooke mostly piled stuff on her plate. We then make our way to our table. It's all the way in the back next to a small window. We all eat our food talking about our day. When it was time for our next period in Literature with Mr. T.
Lena had this class with Brooke.  They dumped their trays and get their stuff for lit. Making her way to class with Brooke while Abby went to French class. They sat down in their seats next to each other. Lisa walks in with Suzy smacking my book down as she passes. Brooke bends down and picks it up as Lena says a silent thank you. The bell rings and class begins.
"Today my young poets, we shall read Shakespeare ." Mr. T makes a dramatic pose. "We shall do Romeo and Juliet!"
Everyone groans. Lisa raises her hand.
"Yes Miss Hayes." Calls Mr.T.
"We all know what happens in Romeo and Juliet, they die." Says Lisa.
"True enough but I want you to find out why they did what made them. I want you to read between the lines!" Holds up three fingers." And you shall be doing this with a partner."
Brooke and Lena look at each other smiling. We had always been partners either Brooke and I or Abby and me we just worked well together thought Lena. "I shall be picking your partners with my trusty hat." Says Mr. T.
"I bet we get partnered up just you and me." Whispers Lisa. Lena looks back and sees she's talking to Will. Turning her head away she faces the board. Mr. T sticks his fingers into the hat and pulls out two names. "Lisa and Suzy" Suzy squeals with delight. "Brooke and Patricia" Brooke leans over to me and asks "Who?"  Names start being called out with their partners till it was down to four. I still haven't been called. "Lena and...." Mr. T pauses unfolding the other paper "Will"
Time stops. I am partnered with Will. Lena turns to look at Will and he flashes her smile mouthing "Take care of me."  While Lisa mouth turned into a fly catcher.
