Lizas POV
I run downstairs and see Kristen sitting on the couch on her phone. I run up to her, "Liza!"
She hugs me, "what's wrong?"
"David was cheating on me with Stacey Hollister."
She gasps then she looks over my shoulder, I turn around and see David and Stacey yelling at each other. The house becomes quiet as everyone watches.
David looks around then storms out of the house. I run after him.
"David!" I say.
He turns around to face me but then people come outside to watch what happens.
David opens his car door, "coming or not?"
I assume maybe David didn't cheat because I saw him yelling at Stacey so I go with him. I know what Stacey does though she attempts to manipulate guys into liking her and she will go to the extreme to do that kind of like an innocent version of the yandere simulator game.
We're safe in the car and he drives away. There's an awkward silence in the car that I'm not used to with David. It's always been comfortable silence or no silence at all.
We pull up at my house. I check the time it's 1 am. We silently walk up to my room. David goes to the ensuite and gets into sleeping clothes and I do the same.
Some minutes later while I'm about to fall asleep David says my name. I turn to face him.
"Yes?"
He explains to me what Stacey did.
"I'm sorry baby you know I'd never do that on purpose," he says.
"Don't be sorry it's not your fault."
He smiles and I fall asleep without having to worry.
