A knocking was on my door and in came a depressed Amber.
"Ambs, what's wrong? Who hurt you? Get a shovel I'll get some soil...." I said joking to make her feel better
"N-n-no... Niki..." She cried
"Yes Amby?" I giggled at my elementary school name I gave her. Mine was Nini.
"My parents are divorcing and EJ is in Bali now and your the o-o-only o-o-one Niki!" She sobbed into my chest.
My mom and family except dad and Nate because they're out fishing.
"Oh Amber. I'll get some tea sweet." Said my mom patting her back.
Amber has been like another daughter to my mom and she's like my sister from anotha motha.

We were cuddling in bed watching Netflix and eating popcorn and icecream.
"Niki?" Asked Amber.
"Yes?" I said
"I love you. In a best friend way." She smiled.

We were onto our third movie and 31 toilet breaks have been done.
Amber yawned and soon her breathing lowered. She had fallen asleep.
My eyes felt heavy and soon enough it was morning.
I look around to see no Amber next to me, was it a dream?
I walked down the stairs and still no Amber.
"Hey Isa Nate, where's Ambs?" I asked sitting down.
"She left early about two hours ago, she said her mom would be worried sick." Said Isa giving me OJ and some cereal, fruity loops. Yum!
