I opened the car door and blew a kiss to my dad as he drove away. My best friends Amber and EJ were there.

"EJ, you saw her last week." Hissed Amber before pushing her out of the way. Damn, I'm popular. Hahaha not.
"Ah well, let's get inside." I said pushing open the doors. I immediately heard mumbles and whispers from people in the hallway.
We got to our lockers, me and Amber were next to each other, then a boys locker then EJ's after, EJ is gonna try convince him to move lockers with her. RIP Emily-Jane.
"Nicolette Dallas. I thought you died... Laugh my ass off, where were you this week, it's literally friyay!" I slammed my locker shut and turned on my heels to see Melbourne Minsley.
Melbourne and I were best friends but something changed I guess.

The period went by fast, the girls knew something was up, they scurried behind me and I grabbed my bag from my locker.
I said bye to EJ and walked over with Amber.
"What the hell are you doing here Cam?!" I yelled.
"Only came to see my little cousins." He said innocently. I looked at Amber and she, being the great friend she is, had a straight face like me even tho I saw she wanted to flirt desperately.
"Still Cam, surprise her at home!" Said Amber.
He rolled his eyes and looked at me again.
"Now Niki, I won't be here for long, you and your pretty friend can hope in or walk home?" He asked.
