Matt was on his way home when he felt something different around him. It was a little bit cloudy that afternoon. The sky looked pleasant but he could feel that something was wrong. The wind was blowing hard and fast. It was like a hurricane's wind. The trees on the sidewalk made a rustling sound.

He blinked his eyes and he saw something was approaching him. Something dusty, misty, leafy and windy. It was a small tornado. He thought that they called it a dust devil. He felt a sudden panic so he hid behind one of the bushes beside the sidewalk. As he peeked in through the leafy bush, he felt something bit him. he was sure that it was an ant. He felt the pain but he endured it. He didn't care about it. What he care right there was the dust devil. He saw there were three dust devils. One was spinning pass the sidewalk (the one that was approaching him a moment ago). The second one was in the middle of the road and the other was in the far left corner.

The dust devil that was approaching him earlier was in front of the bush where he hid that time. The leaves and dust were spinning around it as it passed through the sidewalk. The wind seemed weaker as one of the dust devil faded.

When the dust devil that was in front of him faded, he saw the other dust devil in his far left corner floated and turned into something unexplainable. He would describe it that it glowed blue. Very light blue. The wind got stronger as it glowed. It floated way up high that he could see its vortex. Inside the vortex, he saw a grenade. Maybe it took the grenade from CherryBomb. (CherryBomb was a store located here in McSawdey street)

He was shocked. He felt that he wanted to stay away from it. In any moment, the grenade could fall and blow him away. He didn't wanna die with his body exploded and he have a priority to do. He promised to himself that he would give that gift to his mother.

The floating sky blue dust devil started to float away. He could see that the strange hurricane-like wind dust devil wanted to unplug the pin. He could hear a very loud whistling wind sound inside.

The pin was removed by the hurricane wind like dust devil and it fell in the middle of the road. As the pin was removed, the strange dust devil flew away in such incredible speed. It took the grenade with it and it looked like it was in a hurry. He followed where it went but unfortunately, He lost it.

Then suddenly, he heard an explosion on his far left side. he gasped but the explosion was not loud. He ran as fast as he could to where the smoke came from after the explosion happened. He knew the location was in the Burtone Street. It was not that far. It only takes a few steps to reach it from McSawdey street (the street where he was standing) to Burtone Street.

Before he reached the Burtone Street, another explosion happened again. BAM!!! The explosion was very loud. It didn't create a smoke but it scattered a mystical bluish swirls in the area. It blasted away the smoke and some sharp metallic things around the area. The impact was so strong that it blew something sharp very fast and struck the boy in his far right corner in the chest part.

He felt a moment of shock, so he went to him. He knelt down, put down his gift for his mother and placed the boy's head on his(Matt's) lap. He glanced at the destructed place. He saw a wrecked car was on fire and there was girl standing there. He couldn't see her face clearly but as far as he know, she was blonde and kinda looked like a teen somehow. She started to walk away until she disappeared on his sight.

He looked back at the boy. His face turned pale red. His eyes was wide of open. He wanted to help him, but he couldn't do it, because he was just an 8-year-old kid and he didn't have any information about saving a life.

The boy was gasping for air. He was bleeding. Bleeding to death. Blood dripped down and soaked his shirt. He's still catching for his breath. He can't breathe because some metallic thing cut through his left chest part.
