No this can't be.
But it is his diary
He's alive?
I need to find him

I smile and wipe the single tear that just escaped.

"Where is this guy who was sitting here before?" I ask the guy in the counter

"He was here awhile ago. He left when he got a phone call"

"This diary is his ?"

"Yeah I saw him writing in it"

I nod. I try opening it but I see a lock on it. I decide to wait for him.

50 minutes later...

Still there is no sign.

What if he saw me and hiding?
There gotta be a reason.
He won't leave me just like that.
But how did he escape?
How did he get here!

Questions run in my mind. I take a tissue and write my phone number on on it. I get up and go to the counter.

"If anyone comes claiming this diary Call me at once please" I give him the tissue

"Sure"

"Please I need to find him"

"Don't worry I'll ring you"

"Thanks"

I leave the stop with his diary. I quickly stop a taxi and get in.

I walk into my house to be engulfed into an hug.

"How was your day?"  D ask

"It didn't really go well" she pulls away

"Why?"

"The person who I didn't want to see is my dance partner for the video" she frowns

"Why? I mean who?"

"My Ex boyfriend" I sigh

"Who? Harry?" I nod

"You hate him don't you?" She asks with a sad tone

"Hell No! I don't hate him. No not at all. Its kinda complicated what I feel cause I lost all my feeling when I lost Marcel. But I know for sure I don't hate him"

I see a smile creep up her face

"I understand love. What's that in your hand?"

I look at the diary

"Oh this is my husb- Marcel's diary. I found it in a ice cream shop today. You know what does that mean?"

She takes it from me and looks at it

"It means he's alive and in California" I rejoice saying

She gives me a gloomy expression

"Is everything alright D?"
