Barry sat with iris in the cortex he had his arm draped over her shoulders and she was admiring her engment ring as barry talked about its history but he knew she wasn't listening.

That's when it happend.

Julian came rushing into the cortex worry plastered all over his face but it was the wods he spoke next that made something snap inside of barry.

"Guys it's caitlin she was fine one minuet then...she flatlined I couldn't do it I couldn't let her die so I-I took her necklace of" Julian paused and swolled "she's not caitlin anymore caitlin's gone she's" another pause

"killer frost"

Caitlin's gone.

Caitlin's gone.

Caitlin's gone. Caitlin's gone. Caitlin's gone.

The words replied in barrys head over a thousand times she couldn't be gone she couldn't. She wasn't.

Barry sped to the medical room where he found Caitlin...no not caitlin he could tell not my the colour of her hair her eyes or her now paper white skin.

It was the way she looked at him the way her deep blue eyes met his own the way her head tilted slightly to her left.

"Flash" she said coldly as she stalked towards him barry remaind unmoving as she ran her icey finger along the slight scruff on his jaw.

She was still wearing her hospital gown and barry took note of cisco unconscious in the corner of the room.

"Frost" he replied emotionlesy.

She smirked and continued walking around him and running her fingers up his spine and down his neck.

"Finally someone rembers me I'm sick of being called Caitlin" she said sharply and dug her nails into his arm barry winced making her smirk "cisco was all 'caitlin don't do this I know you caitlin blah blah blah' I stoped listening after he said we were best friends" she let out an evil laugh.

Barrys eyes breifly darted to cisco who was still unconscious.

"So flash here's what's going to happen" she hissed poking her index figer into his chest "you are just going to let me go I won't reveal your little scarlett secrate to anyone and  you get an alert telling you I'm attacking some people or robbing a jewellery store because we all know I need pretty things you and your little...gang are just going to ignore it and go on with your little lives...ok?"

Barry inhaled deeply.

And she continued "or...to could join me I highly doubt you want to continue playing superhero" caitlin reached his ear then whispered into it.

"Being villain's could be so much more fun" she whispered and he felt her breath ghost over his ear lobe before she came to stand in front of him.

"So Barry what's it gonna be?" Killer frost smirked.
