The Awkward Kiss

Dan's POV

         I was just laying down on the bed, not asleep, but too comfortable to move. All of a sudden I heard Phil go downstairs. He came back upstairs, and leaned forward, and kissed me! So naturally, I kissed back. We continue to kiss before he realizes what he's doing. He pulled away. I wish it would've gone on forever.
       "Oh my god. You were awake?!" He blushes and puts his hand over his mouth. "Yeah! Why did you kiss me?" We're both shocked. "I don't know! Why did you kiss back? Obviously, I've made things awkward, so I'll just leave." I look over at Phil, still blushing. "No! You don't have to go! We'll just forget that ever happened. Please don't leave." I eagerly look at Phil. "You really want me to stay? I just kissed you at your most vulnerable state!" Phil started to tear up. "Please don't cry! Just stay. If it makes you feel better, you can sleep in my bed." He nodded and crawled into my bed with me.

Phil's POV
I feel horrible. And now he's letting me sleep in his bed with him? He should be mad. He should have kicked me out. He should have kicked me out but the fact that he kissed back makes this so much more confusing. After a while, I fall asleep.
Time Skip
"Good morning." I wake up to Dan right next to me. "Oh god. I'm sorry for last night! I better get going." I gather my stuff up and put on my backpack. "Phil don't leave!" Dan calls out. "Bye Dan." I show myself out, tears welling up in my eyes.
I run to my house and unlock the door. "Mum, I did something bad." I plop myself down next to my mum on the couch. "What did you do this time?" She looks at me with a stern look. I tell her everything that happened. "And then you slept in the same bed as him? You said you wouldn't screw it up." She has a confused look on her face. "I know." I burst into tears. "Let it out, you're ok." She rubs my back while I cry on her shoulder.
