I was checked out for nothing, I wasn't shot. Jake, Y/n, Logan, Dobres, Martinez, and Chad were all shot by a panicked Zach. I walked to the intense care unit of the hospital, asking to see Jake. A nurse led me into his room that also had Logan in it. Logan was awake so we talked until we heard Jake stirring. His eyes opened slowly and he grunted in pain, before he reached for his leg I stopped him.
"You were shot, don't touch it." He stopped and talked in a weak voice.
"Where's Y/n and Gray?"
The nurse came in and hooked him up to a portable IV fluids stand and got him into a wheel chair, we were going to see the others. I rolled Jake down the hall to the next room, the nurse had given me the rooms numbers. We went in to see the Dobre twins, both asleep. The nurse told us that Lucas had received a bullet to the knee snd Marcus had received a bullet to his chest. They had also been pretty badly beaten, Lucas had to get plastic surgery to fix the frame structure of his nose. We walked to the next room that had the Martinez twins. Ivan was awake but Emilio was in a coma. Ivan suffered slight memory loss from head trauma. The nurse explained to us that Ivan would be getting mental therapy that would help regain his memory to what it was before. I was happy for him but I felt bad for Emilio, he was my best friend. I brushed it off, ide visit him alone later. We made our way to the other side of the wing. We walked into Chad's room. He was sitting on his bed talking to a doctor, the doctor left and he looked at us. His eyes had bags underneath them and he had a huge bandage on the side of his face.
"Hey." He said weakly, his vocal chords were strained. Nurses came in and changed his IV. We left him to rest as we went to Y/n's room. Her eyes were open as she watched the ceiling. She looked at Jake and smiled.

I smiled when I saw Jake. It had been a whole week since that night and I missed him. The doctors said I was allowed to get up now, I had a shoulder brace so I could go around the hospital if I pleased. A doctor came in and smiled,
"Mr. and Mrs. Paul, glad to see you two are visiting."
"How's our son?" Jake asked.
"I can take you to his room in the paediatric intense care unit." I nodded and slowly stood up. Walking next to Tessa, we got into the elevator and moved to the paediatric wing. We walked down the hallway until we got to doors that said "Intense Care Unit, please ring buzzer for admittance."  The doctor pressed the buzzer and talked to a lady through an intercom.
"Its Doctor Romano, I'm with the parents to Paul." The door clicked open and we went in. We walked down the hall to the last room on the right. We walked in and some nurses were checking stuff. His eyes followed their movements, I felt tears slipping from my face as I looked at him, my sweet baby boy... mangled. He had two black eyes and his eyes in general were blood shot red. He had a neck brace on and was covered in bruises, not to mention he had his left leg, and right arm in casts with a spine brace. He looked at us and used his left hand for a grabbing motion as he tried to speak.
"Remember what we said Grayson, no talking." A nurse said playfully as she put a finger to her mouth. I walked up to his bed side and crouched down beside him.
"Hey Gray." I said weakly as tears slid down my face. He started to cry too, whimpering quietly. "Shhh, it's okay, how about you show me how long you can be silent." He smiled a bit and the tears stopped.
"He was strangled, beaten, and neglected by Richards." The Doctor said as I put my hand on his cheek and rubbed my thumb, he gave me a terrified look.
"Shhh it's okay Gray, you're okay." He kept his eyes on me, I continued to stroke his cheek. His eyes started to close and I kept going. His eyes finally closed and I stood up. Jake took my hand and squeezed it. We went back to our own rooms and I looked back up at the ceiling again.

It was 5:13 and I decided to go see Jake. I walked past the rooms, stopping at one when I heard Tessa talking.
"Emilio please wake up, I need you." She sniffed, she was crying.
'Does she like Emilio?' I giggled to myself as I continued to walk to Jake's room. He was on his phone as I sat on his bed.
"Hey baby." He said smiling.
"Hey." I said, he reached his hand out and I took it. "Does Tessa like Emilio?"
"What do you mean Y/n?"
"Well, I heard her in the other say that she needed him and they've been spending a lot of time together lately."
"Maybe, I hope so, they're cute."
