Chapter 6

Levi's POV

I felt my heart shatter...

She likes someone else...

"Please excuse me everyone I have some work to do." I say and walk away quickly.

"Levi wait!" Cris yelled but I ignored her.

I storm into my room and slam the door.

"DAMN IT!!" I yelled.

I sit at my desk and propped my elbows up on it. Tears slip out of my eyes as I sob silently to myself.

Cris' POV

"Levi come back!" I yell for him but he wouldn't turn back.

"Levi..." I whispered.

"Alright Cristina if that's how you feel. But I will win your heart back!" Erwin declares.

"What do you mean 'back'?! It was never given to anyone!" I yell and storm off.

Soon a soldier came up to me and saluted.

"Corporal Jeager! Erwin had requested that you and the others of the scouts come for an announcement!" He says.

"Alright." I say.

I walk over to our meeting area and sit in my normal seat which was next to Levi.

But he wasn't here for a while. Till we heard a door slam open. We all turn our heads to see Levi looking at the ground.

He comes over and sits next to me.

"Levi are you ok? You're eyes are red." I whisper to him.

"I'm fine." Was all he said but I knew he was hiding something.

"I'll ask you again later. See if you'll tell me the truth next time." I say. His eyes widen slightly.

"Alright everyone! In 3 days we will be going on another expedition outside the walls!" Erwin says.

I heard a 'tch' come from Levi.

"Any questions?" Erwin asked.

"This isn't a question this is a statement. Cris won't come with us." I look at Levi in shock.

"What?!" I ask.

"You. Won't. Come. With. Us. That's final Cris." Levi says.

"You do this almost every time Levi! Why can't I go with you?!" I yell.

"I have my reasons."

"Well I will go this time no matter what you say." I stand up and walk away.

3 days later!

Today was the day we go on another expedition outside the walls. I was setting up my horse when Levi came up to me.

"Are you sure you want to go?" He asked.

"Yes. I want to be there to help you guys." I say.

"Alright. Just promise to stay close to me." He says in a worried tone.

"I promise Levi. Just don't worry to much!" I say.

We set up our 3DMG and got on our horses.

We head near the gates where all the new soldiers are.

"Whoa look it's Corparl Levi and Corparl Cristina!" Someone yelled.

"Wait where's Corparl Cristina?!" I recognized that voice. I look over and see Eren, Mikasa, and Armin. They see me and wave I just smile to them.

"Cris who are they?" I turn my head back to Levi.

"Oh no one. You'll meet them later!" I smile to him. 

"Whatever brat." Was all he said.

Erwin began to yell.

"Is everyone ready? We will be leaving now! OPEN THE GATES!!!"

"Ready Levi?" I ask.

"As always."

"Let's go!" We yell in unison and begin to ride out the gates.
