Seth's POV

We followed Jack Bruno into the little forest after we've seen Jess running in there.
He called out for her but didn't get an answer.
Then he found her crouching next to a tree, she was holding onto her stomach and waist.
Her breathing was really fast.

At the sight of this, my heart ached for her wellbeing.
Jack Bruno held her arm, I assume for feeling her pulse.

"We've got to take you to a doc fast.
Come on", he said.

He was helping her to stand up slowly.
They took a step forward but her knees buckled and her head was close to hit the ground with her head first.
I wasn't the only one who panicked and yelled, Jack Bruno had managed to catch her head just in time.
Me and my sister rushed forward and knelt down beside them, me holding my love's hand.
Sara looked to me.
Yeah I am aware of what I thought.
I turned to look at me the man in front of us.

"What's wrong with her?" I asked concerned for her health, you could hear that in my voice.

He looked at me suspiciously but answered as if he didn't notice.

"I don't know for sure. That's why we need to get her to doc fast."

I nodded a quickly picked her up.
It seemed that Jack Bruno didn't like that he was about to complain but I turned and walked back to the vehicle.

"H-hey ..."

I only glanced back when he didn't notice.
My sister had a hand on his shoulder, they were talking.

Sara's POV

"H-hey ..." Jack Bruno wanted to complain.

I could hear his thoughts.

'I don't like that. How he looks at her and how she looked back every time, blushing, attached to the other.'

I put a hand on his shoulder to calm his thoughts.

"I know that you don't like what you see, going on between my brother and your niece. But this is natural. When someone falls in love, they are reacting like this, looking at each other, blushing ... that's normal."

"W-wait how do you know what I was thinking about?"

"I will explain later, but for now, like you said, it is urgent we get her to a doctor."

No ones POV

They walked back to the vehicle, seeing that Seth was already buckled up with an unconscious Jess sitting on his lap, head on his shoulder and one of her hands being hold by one of Seth's. His other hand was on her back.
Sara got on the seat next to him again while Jack got in the drivers seat and started the car.
He shot some glances to the back through the rearview mirror and saw Seth looking at his niece's face with love and care.
He replayed the short conversation with Sara in his head over and over until he just repeated 'falling in love' in a never ending mantra.
Just for a few seconds he caught Sara looking at him before he looked back onto the street ahead.

'That can't be. I must be hallucinating, she can't read thoughts, can she?" he told himself in his head.

"It is true Jack Bruno, I can read thoughts", Sara said, drawing Seth's attention to her.

"My brother and I are indeed not from your planet."

Jack slammed on the breaks causing everyone to jolt forward in their seats and Seth to tighten his grip on Jess.
Jack turned around with an 'I don't believe you' look in his eyes.
It was silent in the cab for a few seconds before he boomed one word, ripping Jess out into consciousness.

"BULLSHIT!"
