Chapter 12: The Last Day

CHARA POV

I begin to think what we should do, it's summer again after all, and well last summer didn't go so well. But with no anti-monsters you aren't very worried. You see Toriel has rented a house which is good. But before you can even say anything to her she says you two need to go to the doctor for a checkup. You tried to argue that you feel fine, and Frisk looks fine. In fact you see Frisk behind you, they catch up and asks whats wrong, you tell her that Toriel wants you to go to the doctor. Frisk says "But I fell fine!" But Toriel responds with "Yes but a checkup would be good for you, my children" You and Frisk reluctantly agree before you begin training on the sword skill, specifically what you wish the magic to manifest as. At first you were just surrounding it in a very basic magic aura but it would be nice to tie it to some magic of your own. You start thinking and you realize though you may have changed you will always have an affiliation with dark magic, but mixing dark magic with an element would be nice, so you decide to mix wind with the dark magic. You set up a few logs as training dummies but of course these dummies only last a few slashes. You ask Undyne if you can borrow her training dummies realy quick and she agrees, and she says "Hey kid if you're gonna borrow those I want you to come back with them in shreds!" She says this with her usual huge grin. You go back and Toriel says, "The doctor says you two need to go in at 5:00 so I recommend you head there now my children." You and Frisk begin heading over there. When you get there you check in and are forced to wait for ten minutes. Frisk has her check first. To you she looks healthy and the doctor agrees with you and her checkup only took five minutes. Next is you, you are kinda worries. You always hated the doctors office. The doctor does some checks, then he decides to check your blood. He checks, he says he will be right back. You and Frisk talk for a while, you begin getting nervous and you hug Frisk. The doctor comes back and Frisk is forced to leave for routine. The doctor says "Chara, I am afraid to inform you, you have a disease that will stop all movement of your muscles, meaning your heart will also stop." You ask the doctor if he can do anything but he shakes his head no. He says that this concludes the doctor visit today. You leave with a smile and tell Frisk nothing is wrong, you walk home together. When you go to sleep you see somebody, they are concealed in darkness they say, "So you shall die soon, and nobody can save you except the one thing you have but decided to abandon. Your HATE." You say, "I refuse, after all, I would rather die than make a deal with you." You wake up and it looks like it's around five, you don't care and go out to train. It works perfectly, you begin to walk to Frisk bed, you trained for an hour and you want to sleep but you fall to the floor, it makes a thud and walks up Frisk. You hear her yell "TORIEL! CHARA FELL AND SHE'S NOT GETTING UP!" You can't move... You try to move your arms... Nothing happened. You  try to move your legs... nothing happened. You try to move your fingers... nothing happened. You try to move your toes.... nothing happened. You try to move your lips... you say "I'm sorry, take me to the hospital..." Toriel and Frisk rush you to the hospital, the doctor said your heart would fail. When you make it to the ER and the doctor tests you blood he says, "Can you talk." You try to and succeed. You say "I can, but it hurts." The doctor sighs and says, "The disease you have stopped your muscles, I can't say which will stop first but one both will stop in the end." You see Frisk cry. You wish you could do something but that's not possible is it. You call Frisk over and say "Frisk... while I can still talk, go home and go to the side of the house, and also give me your hand." While you can't move your body you can still focus your aura. You give Frisk the power you had, and part of the power was held by the sword. "You can use my sword, but only if you must. Finally I have one thing to say Frisk, You cannot give up just yet... Frisk stay determined..." You try to say something else but your lips stop moving.

TIME SKIP (1 DAY)

You are still alive, you only know this because of the heart monitor. Besides that for all you know you could be in hell. But as you think that you hear a long beep that heart monitor says your dead, and you can tell this is true because of the light you see and you are forced to go to it. This is the end for you, and through all that beeping you swear you can hear the cries of Frisk and Toriel.

FRISK POV

TIME SKIP (1 year)

It's been one year since Chara has died. Humans and monsters have gotten along well, except for the occasional murder. You learned more about the sword and have mastered it. Hopefully you don't have to use it. You may have to say goodbye to Chara but when she shared her aura with you, you kind of split... This aura also gives you an option, have a child the monster way. Considering in one year you will be eighteen you have decided on this. You earn enough money as the monster ambassador to do this. This child will share the genes of you and Chara and you are happy about that. You go to the store and you decide to buy an empty book. You decide to write something too, this way Chara can be remembered, of course people may not believe it, but that's there choice, after all there are so many possible universes heck, maybe to some this whole event has been a book, be it real or digital that's how infinite the universe is. But who knows, maybe in some universes this is fiction. But you decide on a title for the first part Genocide... The second part will be Learn to LOVE a reference to both LOVE and love. 

(A/N) This is the end of the book. Kind of a bad ending, but I lost inspiration for this but I felt like I needed to finish it. I always wanted a sad ending. Anyway thanks for 2k views. This will probably be the last undertale related book I will make but who knows, maybe it won't be the end of this, but for now until I find more inspiration, I'm marking this as completed. Also, sorry for the short chapter.
