Chapter 6

Will and I loaded ourselves into the car, he insisted on driving since he wanted to be a "gentlemen". I agreed as long as I had control over the radio, he hesitated, but then agreed. Will opened the car door for me and shut up. I giggled at the thought of him being a gentlemen. I connected my phone to the car and decided to play my music. I hit shuffle and started singing "Switch Up" by Toni Romiti. Will looked at me and laughed.

As Will's eyes were focused on the road, I decided to start dancing to the music, staring at him as I did so. We quickly hit a red light and the car came to a complete stop.

"You know, thats very distracting." Will said, glueing his eyes back on the road as the light turns green.

"Whatever, you know you love my perfect dancing." I said, I then just continued playing on my phone for the restnof the night. I decided to text Julia since I haven't senn her since yesterday.

~Text convo~

Me: Hey Boo. Where ya been? You didn't come home after you left with Annie.

Julia💘: I'm over at Annie's now. I decided to wait for you here. When are you getting here cause in between you and me, Calebs really anxious to see you😉

Me: Oh shut up! You are honestly the most annoying person ever! But I'll be there in two minutes.

Julia💘: Listen, Caleb told us he went over to check on you earlier today. If I'm being honest he hasn't been the same since, he's been happier. So whatever you did to him really impacted him, for the better of course.

Me: Nothing that important happened..

Julia💘: OMG! Your giving me all the jucy details later! Just hurry your little butt up and get here.

Me: Okay, dear.

Little did she know, I was right at the front door as she texted me. I knocked on the door, almost instantly Julia opened the door and embraced me into a hug.

"How was that for quick?" I asked, we both erupted into laughter.

Annie then tackled me into a hug. Annie was about 2 years younger then me, yet she's one of my closest friends. Annie then whispered into my ear.

"Lily, Caleb wanted me to tell you he's waiting for you in his room. Apparently, he needes to talk to you in there.

"Okay." I whispered back.

"No funny buisness!" Annie whisper yelled into my ear.

I laughed and then went up to Caleb's room. He was sleeping on his bed peacefully, I guess he fell asleep while waiting for me. I slowly snuck onto hus bed and layed down next to him. I watched him sleep for a few minutes, hesitating to talk to him. But I knew we had to.

"Caleb?" I asked.

He slowly woke up, when he opened his eyes he seemed to disbelieve it was me laying next to him. Once he realized it was, he smiled at me.

"Hi." Caleb said, smiling at me.

We both sat up properly on the bed.

"Hey there, sleepy head." I said, smiling back.

"I guess Annie told you I wanted to talk to you." He said, turning his body to face me.

"Yeah." I said, looking at the bed. I had to admit, it was hard to face him while we were on the terms we were.

"Listen, I know we talked about this earlier this morning. But, I know if I ever want a shot to be back with you I need to prove to you that I still love you. I was thinking all day about it, and I figured out a way to start making it up to you. Its just a long apology, but I wrote it all down on a letter. I wanted to give it to you, but I realized I would rather just say it." Caleb started, I knew that if he continued I would fall for him again.

"Caleb-" I began, Caleb cut me off.

"No, please just let me say this." Caleb pleaded, I saw hope in his eyes. How could I say no? I nodded my head.

"Lily, we have such a long history. You mean the whole entire world to me. You habe seen the best and worst of me, yet you love me anyway. I can't help but smile when i hear your name, or when i see you. You have this ability to make me smile even when I dont want to. Even when I was in my depression, your name was the only thing that brought a smile to my face. I stared at pictures of us for hours, I would constantly replay every memory we shared together in my head, and most of all I thought about how I missed the feeling of you in my arms, and your soft kiss. Lily, you are the first thing I think about when I wake up in the morning, and your the last thing I think about when I fall asleep. I would do anything for you, and I truly mean anything. I guess what I'm trying to say here is, Lily, I'm in love with you." Caleb said intertwining our hands, I started the tear up and i felt a tear roll down my cheek.

"Caleb, I love you too." I said, we looked deeply into each others eyes. He crashed his lips into mine and I didnt stop him. When our lips connected I felt fireworks explode. Everything felt right in the world. When we pulled apart, I just embraced him into a hug. I never wanted to let go of him. I fell for Caleb Logan Leblanc again. Hopefully, this time it goes the best way possible. I don't know where were going to take this from here, all I know is yet again, I'm madly in love with Caleb Logan Leblanc.
