Bonjour to all✨ how is everybody holding up?
Here are the books on my 'To read' list this month💃🏽with some reviews

All the Bright Places~ Jennifer Niven

The plot was amazing, there's no doubt about the story line. But I felt like that was the only thing it had going for it. There was barely any character development and I didn't find Violet all that realistic- that's not to say that her depression was not real and to make little of people suffering from mental disorders💚, it just seemed "Tumblr-ish" to me.
I did, however, love Finch and found him a very interesting character.
All in all, I did not like the way it was written, but those are just my preferences, and I only really carried on reading it for the amaze plotI'll Give You the Sun~Jandy Nelson

One word.. DEATH. That's what happened when I read the beautifully quirky book. First of all just👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 to Jandy Nelson for taking her fucking time whilst writing pure gold. Because honestly she created not only two characters, but 7 fucking brilliant characters. The character development of the twins was superb and to be able to write from two perspectives the way Nelson did, is something so rare. Just everything😭If I Stay~Gale Forman

Okay so literal death happens in this book. A beautiful story about choosing to live, despite having nothing to live for. Mia is "not your average teen". Straight up, her parents are more teen than her👀 But I felt that a lil' bit of Gayle Forman was thrown into Mia- she's an old soul naturally, but it was sometimes quite difficult to relate with her. This was an easy read and held me captive from the beginning. Also written with flashbacks, I think it's done relatively well🌷 I wouldn't tell you to read this book today, but I do insist you put it on the reading list❤️Yeah so there're only 3 books on this list, despite my 2 week Holiday (assignments, Hun) because I got ish to do💁🏽 #girlonamission
