Taeyeon drank the water as she let the coldness fill her drying throat. She wiped her sweat while clutching on her sportpack and went out of the spacious practice room.

She was practicing for her upcoming comeback album.

She walked through the empty hall silently as she let her thoughts eat her system. She took dubious steps through the tranquilized dark hallway as she saw a familiar figure standing by the middle, Wearing his loose pants while resting his tired back on the firm, cold wall.

She looked down at her feet trying her best not to meet his gaze, that gaze she was longing for so long. She emitted a small exhale and abruptly, she raised her head. Just as, She chewed on her lips and her heart drops when she met his frigid gaze.

She felt that something perforiated through the smallest pieces of her core, the latter continued on looking at her, Though his eyes are sharp she still can see the glint of agony flashing before it's hostile facade.

She bit her own lips as she chosed to avert her gaze from him. She chose to walk away from him, Once again.

Every step she took must have caused a spasm of pain inside but she refused to show any discomfort. She knew it herself that shuning him will be the only way that will lead the both of them at peace——no, who was she kidding? She knew it, deep down her soul that she will never find that dazzle and solace without him.

It was too painful that she had to halt from walking as she held tightly on her chest, Tears flowing endlessly. She wanted to pull him in her embrace so badly, She wanted to feel the warmth of his touch again.

But who is she to do that? When, she was the one who pushed him away in the first place? She bit her lower lip as she make her pace faster than before, Closing her palms into a fist, letting her tears plunge without mercy.

She heaved a small hanker, Feeling her heart wavering about the scene earlier. Remembering his soft, icy features she's been missing for god knows how many months it is.

She beamed sullenly. Knowing everything they had before is all just a mere memory, that is long burried in the past.

She pushed the door open into her Boss's office, there she saw Mr. Kim Youngmin, too busy signing papers on whichever she doesn't give a damn to.

"Have a seat." She felt her veins tensing as her heartbeats raised into another level, She can feel her face turning red because of the unexplainable exsasperating feeling inside her whenever she sees Kim Youngmin, SM Entertainment's CEO. "Have you heard about Baekhyun and Suzy's collaboration?" Her brows twitched at the sudden topic.

"I did." She swallowed the invisible slab on her throat. Kim Youngmin leered a little as he tapped his ballpoint on his desk continiously. "It was a hit, loved by his fans." She nodded her head bitterly, Thoughts running on her mind such as why this petty man is discussing things about her ex infront of her?

"Forget that you are his girlfriend because i am putting him into a drama, He'll have kissing scenes." she balled both of her palms into a fist. Reality keeps on slapping her face and her heart is sinking because of this.

Right, It was the drama Baekhyun had dreamt for so long.

"You know we are not a thing anymore, So why are you telling me things like this right now?" Her voice was loud and clear, She can feel her body shaking a little because of anger. Kim Youngmin sighed, "You'll sing a song for their drama." Taeyeon held back her freezing breath as she took few steps a back.

"Stop using us." She vocalized bitterly. "Baekhyun and I already suffered enough." She let the worlds slide out from her mouth without thinking of the consequences it might bring.

"You almost teared his career and you just made mine into a dicey zone." Kim Youngmin just stared at her without showing any expressions. "Kim Taeyeon, i told you not to mix your private life over your work, Haven't I? This is a part of your work." Taeyeon strided her back from the amateurish CEO their entertainment has.

"Im not, But you did. 2 years ago."

The CEO fell silent for a moment, Taeyeon continued to blurt out all of her thoughts that she hid for so long.

"If you didn't use us as your variable just to cover up the lawsuit issue of his co former member, Then i wouldn't have to brag about your life messing mine." She was totally pissed and is full of the loads she has been carrying on her shoulders.

Without further regrets, she made her way out of the aphyxiating appointment room.

"Taeyeon, Kim Taeyeon." Her world stops, hearing his almost inaudible voice.

She breathed in and out while fixing her posture, Chest tensing a little as she feels her heartbeat beating in an abnormal rapid manner.

"What?"

She looked away when she met his agonizing eyes, again. He still has that bubbly aura within him, But when she chosed to walk away , He became different off camera, Too much that she can't recognize him properly anymore.

"Please sing the song, for me." He begged, It was the first time after six months they had an actual conversation because of their crazily busy schedules.

"Byun Baekhyun." She smiled secretly without showing him, She missed calling his name. "We are just going to get hurt." She let the words escape from her lipe bravely. She heard him sigh, Without coming closer he uttered the words that made her breath stop from moving into a dynamic rythym.

"I love you."

Both of them fell silent, None of them plans to break the glass of silence that is surrounding the suffocating air.

"But It hurts." She reprimanded her self from stating such phrase but she knew, She must tell him this. She was not like the other girls, She find it hard to express her feelings to other people. But she couldn't just hold the knife like feeling anymore.

"Taeyeon." Baekhyun heaved out, frustrated.

"Things are precise, and I am hurting your fans, I know they're precious for you more than anything you have." She blurted without even pausing as she look straightly at his welcoming eyes she loves to stare at before.

She doesn't want to make Baekhyun choose between his Career and Her, But she knows that she's in the way of his Succesful future that's why she wanted to cut connections with him.

"Congratulations on your upcoming drama, Baekhyun-ah." She stated while beaming genuinely at the latter who was down on his shoulders, Taeyeon widened her eyes when she felt his soft fingers holding hers.

"Taeyeon-ah, Comeback to me. Please." He pleased, Tears streaming down his cheeks as he pulled Taeyeon into his welcomingly sultry embrace. Taeyeon felt his chest moving up and down.

"Don't do this to me, Stop hurting yourself." Baekhyun whimpered, Letting the concealed feelings slip out his lips.
