we arrive at school and once Rachel parks the car we both hop out. let me tell you more about Rachel lund. when Rachel isn't at school she's volunteering for extra credit. she doesn't get an A on everything, just most things. besides that, she gets B's so volunteering doesn't affect her grades but it does affect her overall ranking for her graduation distinction. she can't do it all the times but she signed up for the ones she can do when she's not doing hockey.
"hey guys." kate says and we both say hi then we all go in a circle of hugs. kate is probably the smartest out of us all if we had to put it down to someone. when she's not doing school she's doing tennis. today she's wearing a black top tucked into her floral skirt with tights and a white cardigan. she has a brown liquid lipstick and has a perfectly angled winged eyeliner. she has jet black hair straight but volumized with blue eyes because she dies her hair. next, we have Jessica. Jessica focuses purely on school and is on the student board so she doesn't really have time to focus on anything else. she has brown skin with brown hair and brown eyes that's curled in large ringlets. she's wearing a purple sweater that goes a bit past her waist that says love with black leggings.
last we have, Rose is pure innocence. she has a pure uncorrupted soul as far as it may seem and just freely roams and reads books in the library and do school work. do not mistake innocence with intelligence but she is beyond average. also when I say as it seems I mean she uses that so if somebody hurts her she has acquired a team of girls and guys who can fuck them up but keeps that in secret but mostly uses it in team activities so everyone goes easy then she can just smash them. she's brutal but also the nicest person I've ever met. she carries her innocent demeanor into her clothing. today she's wearing a cherry red lipstick with green eyes and blond hair. she's wearing a long black coat with a green dress and tights. her blond hair is long and curled. I don't know how to describe myself but here we go. I play netball and that's all I do besides school. I have a family of three with a brother who is pretty average. my parents are both native American. my mom enjoys painting and they are beautiful. they paint stories about the past and how it would feel to see through the eyes of somewhere there. my dad works in the army but he's off duty for 3 days then goes to texas for some work. I have brown skin a bit lighter than Jessica's with brown hair but not as much as her and brown eyes. today I'm wearing red velvet shirt tucked into my black skirt and a floral cardigan. I'm also wearing tights and brown boots.
"Vanessa?" I get called out from my thoughts by Rose calling my name. "hm um yes?" i say and look at Rose.
"did you do the math homework?" kate probably repeats herself.
"yes." I say reassuringly.
"cool well if everyone has finished their homework we can all share answers at the break." clarifies kate while everyone else just nods along. just then the bell rings perfectly timed. ever since 8th grade, we have assigned each other subjects that we're best at out of the whole group. I mean we're all already great but this just helps us focus on like one to three school homework assignments then whatever we do after school. I do the math, Jessica does science, Rachel does sports homework if there is any, and kate does English, and Rose does history.
