The fresh breeze of wind blew through your hair as you walked, hand in hand, with your best friend, Kenma Kozume.
Now, you don't want people to be confused about your relationship with him, you simply do these things since they are normal for both sides.
Well walking, a girl like figure runs up to you. Well, not you, but Kenma.
"HIIIIII, KEN-CHAN!!!!" She said in a "trying too hard to be kawaii voice." "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE TODAY!? ARE YOU FREE!?"
"Um, I'm kinda with (Y/N)" He replies, his voice staying as calm as ever.
"THAT'S OKAY! JUST DITCH HER! I MEAN, YOU DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO POINT OUT SHE'S HERE! SINCE IT'S OBVIOUS YOU'D CHOOSE ME OVER HER TO HANG OUT WITH RIGHT!!???
"What a brat." You thought. Not only is she trying to make Kenma hang out with her when he's already occupied, she's even insulting you in front of your face, talking about you like you're not there.
As you look at her with disgust, you peek over to see Kenma, with an annoyed expression on his face.
"Look, Atsusa, like I already said, I'm with (Y/N)."
Atsusa glared daggers at you. Mouthing, "Kenma's mine, so back off, hoe."
You were ready to punch her in the gut, but Kenma put his hand on your back, probably since he knew what the brat in front of you mouthed.
"Atsusa, we really have to go now. Have a nice day." The male quickly put his hand off your back and to your hands again and walking to the opposite direction, Atsusa looking at both of you, hate in her eyes.
"Phew, that was a nice save. I was so close to punching her that I wouldn't even care if the cops arrested me." You both chuckled at the comment you made.
"But...." You started. "Would you really choose her over me like she said, I mean, she IS your childhood friend, and you were probably on my side today since we were hanging out in the first place."
Kenma stared at you for awhile, then did a quiet but hearable laugh.
"I would never choose her over you. She is my childhood friend, but she's not a good one....and...I kinda...like you...a lot."
He started blushing well you stood there happy. Happy that he loves you back.
"Awwhhh, Kenma! I love you too!" You hugged him without warning. He was shy to hug back at first, but he still ended up doing it anyways.
