"So whats our plan of attack?" asked Domanic.

"I say we bust the fuckin walls down at Oryx's Court and see where all of those nasty bastards are headed" said Aziron.

"Well considering that's not the most likely point of destination, I'd say that's not the best plan of attack. I doubt we'll need to go about this the same as getting into the throne room to take out Oryx. This is different. The Hive and Taken aren't sporadic like they used to be. They aren't just randomly running around each other putting shots and putting their darkness into everything they come across. It's calculated, smooth, well-maneuvered, and clear strategically and tactically" interjected the Guardian Gajec with a very disturbed tone to his voice.

Gajec Liu is a Guardian that knows the stretch of the galaxy. He is thought to be so strong, and more known for his speed, that some to this day still don't believe that he is actually only human. He has run rampant more times than any other guardian in this era in games of The Rift, a game that calls for igniting the enemy player's Rift that they must defend.

Several times Gajec has dominated matches with the most player eliminations, most ignited enemy rifts, and most consecutive player kills. We call those Triple Crowns, and as hard as they are to come by, he has quite a few. He still holds countless records for efficiency in every crucible game elsewhere.

Gajec is blessed with the inapt ability to harness the Void within him as well, much like the rest of us. Some say he was born and raised in the darkness, and that he isn't on the Vanguard's side, while others hail him as a hero, and an inspiration to all younger Guardians wanting to grow into adept warriors harnessing their human abilities as well.

"Oryx was not necessarily a 'subtle' tactical commander; that's why this is all so strange and noticeably different. It really seems like there is another 'Head' controlling the darkness much more efficiently, intelligently, and quieter than Oryx ever seemed capable of." continued Gajec.

Ikora approached Gajec and looked him in the eyes, with a reassuring look on her face and said, "Gajec, we will succeed. Just as we always have, and always will."

Gajec and Ikora Rey have always had a very particular relationship, but it is believed to be just a unique Warlock bond. Eris Morn has had a unique interest in Gajec for quite some time as well. The three of them have bested many seemingly impossible missions. Some of them very well known to the Vanguard organization, and albeit many that have been kept completely in the dark from the Vanguard as well.

Ikora has been the only Guardian to have ever managed to out play Gajec in the Crucible games. Those who have witnessed it said it was so incredibly intimidating that they couldn't even continue playing. It was such a clash of Master Warlocks, that no other guardians dared to try and get in the middle of it. Since these two began participating, they have brought forth a new era of Crucible game called Mayhem, allowing for extra power to be channeled into each Guardian for the duration of the match. This allows for extremely fast paced play, and an incredible amount of damage to be dealt over time by the players that are the most efficient. Clearly, Ikora and Gajec excel in these games the most.
