she let a tear drop onto her cheek as she silently cried herself to sleep
She woke up looked at the phone in her hands unable to look away those bubbles on the end he was typing about to say goodbye and she would cry but she smiled at her best friend and silently held onto the hand that was on her
She cried
But she couldn't tell her best friend why
There were so many issues with the guy she loved
She loved him with a broken heart
A horrible battle
A labored breath
So much pain
She started to want death
It hurt to see him leaving her
No one could ever know her pain filled eyes behind those closed eyes
The soul that had been left
Darkened and bruised
A heart of gold
Turned violently bitter
Always wishing it was cold as winter
She was always sad now
But she put on a mask
I'll hide behind it she said to her reflection
Your such a liar it yelled at her
But as always I'll be your protection
And so she cried when she was alone
So she cried
When sleeping
When no one was awake she cried
She prayed and cried
And burned and lied
And that was how it was till the end of her life
She always cried
