Jack’s POV

Why did I ditch her?

Shoot.

I felt like such an asshole.

Blinking the sleep from my couch from the fireplace, I stretched up.

“Jack! You forgot to put your hoodie on before you came down to breakfast!”

Really, Tooth? What a good way to start the morning.

“You have to remember etiquette.” She glared.

“Chill, Tooth. I’m not a princess or that crap.”

“I wouldn’t be at retching point if you put on your hoodie this morning, mate.”

Really, Bunny? You too?

Sighing, I pulled the hoodie over my head and went back to the kitchen.

“Finally, Jack. I nearly spilled hot chocolate over your hoodie when I was making breakfast this morning.”

Bunny didn’t say anything, but smirked before playing another game of toss with yet another of his fancy painted eggs.

“Where’s everyone else?”

“Oh, Santa’s busy, and Sandy…oh, he’s right here.”

Sandy gave me an infuriated look before going back to his cup of tea.

“Chill, guys. Look, I have to go visit Elsa, so-”

“Oh, wouldn’t you like to see her, mate.”

I glared at him.

“Bunny, you don’t-”

“Shut up, Bunny. They’re totally adorable together as a couple!” squealed Tooth, her wings flapping.

I groaned.

“Tooth, shut up. We’re just friends!”

Sandy’s little head appeared with a heart on it, and I nudged him, nearly spilling his tea over.

“Guys, like, for seriously, okay? I have to go now.”

“Say hi to Elsa for us, mate.” Bunny smirked, swilling his cup of hot chocolate.

If I could shove that thing down his throat and not lose anything, I wouldn’t have hesitated.

I paused outside the building, took a deep breath, and took flight.
