Jack’s POV

I felt so dizzy.

The night was so cold…

I gave a groan of pain. Shoot. My hoodie was torn.

Shaking myself, I tried to repair my jacket with my staff.

“Crap!” I yelled.

It was too cold for my staff to work, and I faltered, falling from my flight.

“No!” I screeched, trying to muster the last of my energy to save myself from falling.

I just managed to land on the snow, but now my leather pants were ripped, and my hood was half torn off.

I didn’t know how, but there was this stunning ice palace that had just seemed to generate right in front of me. A voice, carrying a sweet tune, was wafting from the place. I dragged myself from the snow dune and walked, my bare feet chapping the snow.

I felt the winter night dragging at my hoodie. I brushed the snowflakes from my leather pants. Good. I’ve had enough snow and ice for a lifetime.

I trundled over the snow. I wish I could fly, but I don’t have the strength.

As I approached the palace, I looked up.

The palace was made of ice. It was immune to heat, it seemed, because there was a good smell of baking bread in there. It was so beautiful, and there was even a staircase leading up to it!

“Whoa.” I muttered to myself.

Blinking away the exhaustion from my eyes, I took the first few steps up the rung.

The ice wasn’t slippery, the perfect surface for my rubbed, hot feet.

It was so cool. Boy, I couldn’t have made this. Oh, no. I could make ice statues, and sleighs, even conjure up edible things! But not this castle.

I stepped up to the doorway. I noticed it had a very beautiful ice-snowflake pattern. Somehow, I still had the manpower to raise my snow-encrusted fist and knock.

I heard footsteps clink along the ice surface. The door opened…

-Author's Note-

Ooooh! Who's that mystery person that answers Jack Frost at the door? (We probably know who :P) Thanks for voting and reading! This is my first Jelsa fanfic, even though I've written one other fanfic, but it's on a totally different subject, that's about animals, namely Warriors. This is also the first 'human based' story I've written! I've decided to add 'Author's Notes' to all the chappies from now on ^_^ And I'm happy to see that my books are being added to Reading Lists!

I can't wait to see what's really inside the castle we haven't seen in Frozen!

Happy Reading,

EEbony (The Author)
