It was just another ordinary day at school. The ordinary schedule, teachers, people. But there was just one thing that made this day just a little bit more special. Today basically everybody was planning on who they're going to ask to be their valentine. Nobody has asked you yet, and you didn't expect anyone to do so. You just went about your day.

It was finally time for 6th period which, was your free period. You swiftly made your way to your locker so you could put your stuff away. You carefully did your combo and pulled the handle up, opening your locker. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw a thin, yellow piece of paper start to float down. You put your stuff in your locker and snatched the note up off the ground. Your eyes scanned the yellow note card as smile started to grown on your face.

Go down to the library and from there follow the trail of rose petals. See ya there ;).

You sped walk to the library, excitement and nervousness rushing through your veins.

'What could possibly be going on?' You thought as you grabbed the door handle to the library and walked it. You noticed that rose petals were nearly scattered in a trail that lead outside. Your heart pounded in your chest and you started to follow the trail of petals. You exited out the door and entered the courtyard. You opened the door and saw Shawn Mendes and Jack Gilinsky standing there in suits.

"What's going on?" You asked.

"It's a surprise." Shawn said, giving you a warm smile. They both linked their arms through yours and and started to take you to the secret destination. They finally stopped at the courtyard and your jaw dropped. Standing in a line were Nash Grier, Hayes Grier, Jack Johnson, Cameron Dallas, Aaron Carpenter, Taylor Caniff, Carter Reynolds and were recently joined by Shawn and Jack G. They all gave you a smile and looked like they were trying to contain their excitement. Then, they split apart and out walked your crush of 6 years, Matthew Lee Espinosa. You clamped a hand over your mouth in shock as he came up to you and handed you a bouquet of flowers. You were grinning from ear to ear and your heart was beating at about 10000 miles per hour.

" (y/n) (y/m/n) (y/l/n), I have loved you ever since I've laid eyes on you. I'm in love with everything about you. So I was wondering, will you be my valentine and accompany in a date tomorrow night." Matthew asked, nervously biting his lip. By now, tears of joy were slipping out of your eyes.

"Of course I will." You said and hugged him. All the other boys started to chant 'Kiss, kiss, kiss!'. You giggled as you both started to lean in. He left a sweet kiss on your mouth and hugged you again. This was a perfect ending to a not so ordinary day..
