You sat in his quiet hospital room, the only thing making a noise was the heart monitor. Your hand was intertwined with his pale looking hand.
"Please babe. Please please please wake up. I can't imagine living in a world without you. I need you to wake up. Please." You pleaded while a tear ran down your cheek. Your boyfriend ,Shawn, had just gotten into a car crash and is now in a coma.After a few restless hours of waiting for him to wake up, you decided to get up and do something. You grabbed his guitar and plopped back down into one of those uncomfortable hospital chairs. Strumming the chords to say something, you began to sing.

You finished singing, out of breath and exhausted. Now, tears were flowing out of your eyes. You scooted closer to Shawn and started to stroke his cheek.
"I love you so much. Please wake up. D-don't give up please. Keep fighting. You'll wake up." I talked to his limp body. I planted a kiss on his cheek and started to sob. Now kneeling down on the floor, I rested my head on his chest and listened to his steady heartbeat. You gave him one last kiss on the cheek and decided to go get something to eat. You were almost out the door when, you heard a faint voice call your name. You turned around and ran to Shawn's bed and embraced him in a hug.
"Y-you're finally awake." You stuttered out and kissed his forehead. He smiled and stared into my eyes.
"It was weird. I could hear everything you were saying but I couldn't talk back." He stated. You were grinning like a fool and started to stroke his cheek.
"Those past few hours were miserable without out you. Not knowing if I'd be able to see you ever again scared the crap out of me." You said and looked down at the ground.
"Here, come lay with me." Shawn said and made some room on his bed so you could lay with him. You hopped on the bed and cuddled into him. Shawn kissed the corner of your mouth and laid his head on your shoulder.
"You know what, (y/n), I couldn't imagine living in a world without you either." He whispered into your ear. You planted a kiss on his soft lips and fell asleep in his arms.
