Wabe: Family Matters Most

Extra's POV

It had been about a year since Windclaw had disappeared from the bunker. No one had a clue where he was. Gabe had suggested they keep looking for him even after 3 months of him missing. Eventually they gave up though, but Bobby said he'd keep an eye out but not go searching.

It was a sunday evening and Deans phone rang, Bobby was calling.

"Hey Bobby." Dean greeted, answering it.

"Hey Dean, I uh-have a job for you. But you may want to leave your angels out of it." Bobby said.

"Why?" Dean asked. Bobby took a deep breath, glancing at the newspaper that sat in front of him. A picture of a man with one feathered wing and one webbed wing stood there, just beyond the camera's point of view. The wings were faint, as if in the middle of disappearing, but there was no doubt.

"I found windclaw." He said simply.

"YOU WHAT!? Sorry-where?!" Dean asked, glancing at Sam who was sitting on the motel bed. Though they all had given up the two brothers kept searching. Gabe had been a mess and they wanted to help their friend.

"We need to get him, Gabe is just-he's bad." Dean said.

" Well check the newspaper. It's gone viral. "Man with wings spotted. Possible kidnapper?" seems he's in Wichita and is being held in jail on accusation of kidnapping people. He apparently has someone vouching for him and trying to keep the media away, but still-I'm surprised you haven't found it yet." Bobby said, picking the newspaper up and scanning through it again.

"yeah well we aren't in Kansas. Somehow we got a lead I guess false now from someone in Ohio. So we are here in Columbus. We're on our way down there now. Thanks Bobby.... If you only saw ha e you would understand d how defeated and bad he is...." Dean said.

"I think I have a good idea. Anyway, you may wanna get there as soon as possible. Seems the townfolk think of him as a devil and want to execute him." Bobby said.
