I had finally decided to go to the call, only to find Castiel there. I was annoyed at how he pointed out how I look, I mean its not like I need to clean up anyway. Then I spotted Windclaw. I shook my head, trying to register it as just something in my mind. I had often gotten hallucinations of him, often telling me that he hates me. I waited to see what this trick would do.
"How can I put a coat of sugar over words?" Cas asked. I was about to reply when Windclaw spoke up.
"Cas-its an expression." He said, standing up as he glanced at me with a green and a pink eye. I sighed, almost in relief. Rarely did my mind tricks snap at my brothers.
"Oh." Cas said. Windclaw gave me a small hesitant nod.
"Gabe..." He said. I teared up, finding it hard to believe that this.
"Windy??" I asked, getting chocked up a bit. It had been a year after all. He shifted on his feet nervously before nodding.
"Yeah... It-its me..." He said. I put my hand over my mouth and chocked a sob. It was really him, I couldn't believe it was him. He seemed like he wanted to move forward yet he didn't.
"Gabe-I...." He started, he didn't finish. I quickly ran to him and hugged him, tears streaming down my cheeks. I cried more as he hugged me back.
"I'm sorry..." Windclaw told me. If he hadn't been holding me I would've fallen to my knees.
"Will-will you come back home?" I asked him.
"Of course" He said, nuzzling my hair. My smile grew.
"Th-thank you." I whispered to him.
