A normal person would say they'd be more than happy to be back in the town they grew up in. Hi I'm Rayah and I'm so far from being that person. You can't blame me, my child hood was clouded with awful memories of school bullies and being pushed around. The few good memories of my child hood happened after I left this place. That has got to count for something. Right? I slowly walked through the door of my old house recalling the awful afternoon I came crying home because Luca the devils little helper ruthlessly pushed me into a puddle of mud. I shivered at the traumatising memory as I lugged my bags up the stairs to my bedroom. As soon as I opened the door I smelled it's minty scent and took a deep breath. I opened my eyes to my pale blue walls and white furniture. I looked to my left to see my bathroom and walk in closet with their doors still neatly closed. I walked over to my bed carefully placing down my bags and took light steps over to my window. Ok I'll admit it feels somewhat pleasant to be back in my old room, but that doesn't mean that I still want to be here. "Rayah! could you help me with these boxes please?" I closed my eyes. Thanks mom for ruining the peaceful and somewhat dramatic moment I was having.       "I'm coming." I shouted back.

After helping mom unpack the boxes and finishing unpacking my clothes I jumped on my bed and let out a relaxed sigh. Ahh peace I thought to my self. *phone rings* "Are you kidding me right now?" I muttered. I angrily picked up the phone and sighed an un pleasant "What?"
"Jeez Rayah don't miss me too much." Replied Sophie in a sarcastic voice. Sophie was probably my first real friend. We met when I moved to Australia for my parents jobs. At first we were more like Acquaintances who sat together at lunch but I stole one of her fries and she slowly looked up at me with a confused face. "I should be knocking you to the ground but for some reason I'm okay with it." I tilted my head and looked at her really confused and she said "this is a sign, we have to be best friends."  Ever since then it's been great.
"I wouldn't have been so angry if you didn't call me at 11:00 in the freaking night!" I shouted back.
"Naw love you too. So since your obviously dying to see me can we do something tomorrow before the last first day of our lives begin?" She chirped. I sighed and took a deep breath " Alright. But not anything too big, how about you just come over and we can have an afternoon in the pool?"
"Anything to get away from my jerk of a brother slash your idiot of a boyfriend." I felt my cheeks heat up as I thought about Zach. "Alright just come over whenever tomorrow." I told her. "Ok bye." She said and suddenly hung up. I took my phone away from my ear to look at the screen. "Did she just...hang...bitch." I stuttered. I turned over to plug my phone in then happily fell asleep.
