Ethan's date

It had been a few days after Ethan kicked Mark out and I hadn't seen Mark since. I walked into Ethan's room and he was lying on his bed on his phone, I went and layed next to him and rested my head on his chest.

"Are you still friends with Mark?"

"Not really, I haven't talked to him since that day." Ethan turned his phone off and put his arm around me.

"Why do you care about me so much? And be honest."

"Haven't we gone through this before, I don't want you to get hurt, and you're like my baby sister!"

"Ethan, you're only 3 months older than me."

"I know, but that's still older!" I rolled my eyes and hit Ethan's chest. "Ow! don't hit me!" He started to tickle me back which nearly made me fall off the bed.

"Noooo! Stooop!" We both started laughing then sat on the bed properly again when Ethan's phone buzzed. I grabbed it before he could and looked at the notification, my smile instantly drained out of my face.

"You have tinder?"

"Um, yeah, and I've actually met someone really nice! we've been talking for a while." He took his phone off me and put it into his pocket.

"Oh... that's really nice."

"Are you okay Y/N?"

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"I'm meeting her today."

"That's great, but how come you're allowed to date but I'm not?"

"I don't know, you never told me off."

"Oh, okay." I got up off the bed and walked to my room. About 20 minutes later Ethan walked past my room.

"I'm leaving, do you want me to get you anything to eat while I'm out?"

"No, have fun."

"Okay, bye." He walked out the front door and I was left alone. It hurt me knowing that he was going to be with a girl... who's not me.

****ETHAN'S POV****

Something was upsetting Y/N, and I felt bad for leaving her but I had to go. When I got to the cafe I was meeting this girl at, I ordered a coffee, sat down and went on my phone.

"Sorry, are you Ethan?" I looked up and saw a rather gorgeous girl standing in front of me.

"Yeah, hi, you must be Emma." Emma sat down and we started talking.

"So tell me a bit about yourself Ethan."

"Well, I'm 20 years old, I live with my best friend-"

"Oh that's cool! Have you been friends for a while?"

"Yeah, all our lives!"

*TIME SKIP*

"Today was good! Thanks Emma!"

"Well, I was hoping I could go back to your place."

"Oh- I guess so." Emma smiled at me and we made our way back to my apartment. I was fiddling with the key when Y/N opened the door.

"Hello, I wasn't expecting you to bring her home with you Ethan."

"Hi, I'm Emma! Who are you?" 

"I'm Y/N, I'm Ethan's-"

"Sister, she's my sister." Y/N glared at me, I could see her eyes water as she turned and walked into her room and slammed the door.

"Maybe you should go Emma."

"Yeah, that's fine. I'll see you another time!" Emma leaning in for a kiss on the lips but I turned my face so she only kissed me on the cheek. 

She smiled and walked away, I closed the door and knocked on Y/N's door. I could hear her crying.

"Y/N, I'm sorry I said you were my sister."

"It's not all because of that."

"Then what is it?" There was silence, I then heard footsteps come towards the door. Y/N opened it with tears down her face and red eyes.

"I'm sorry Ethan, but I need to do this."

"Do what? What's wrong?"

"I'm sorry." Y/N grabbed my shirt and pulled me towards her, our lips crashed together and I didn't hate it, I loved it. Y/N pulled away and looked at me.

"You kissed me back?"

"Yeah, I did."

"Ethan, I- I think I have feelings for you."

"I do too! That's why I was so protective over you going out with guys!" We smiled at each other but then Y/N's smile dropped.

"But now you're with Emma."

"Well, I'm not 'with' anyone."

"Wait, why were you even on tinder if you had feelings for me?"

"I thought you didn't like me, so I tried to get on with my life and meet new people."

"Oh okay, well... now I like you, so are you going to get off tinder?"

"No, probably not." Y/N looked at me unimpressed and started hitting my arms. "Okay! I'm sorry! I was kidding!" I picked Y/N up by her legs and threw her over my shoulder which made her scream a bit.

I took her over to the couch and dropped her onto it and layed on top of her. "Okay, back to kissing!" Y/N grabbed my face and pulled it towards hers, we got into a pretty heated make out session when there was a knock at the door.

Y/N and I sat up and I yelled towards the door. "It's open." Emma opened the door and stood  there looking at us shocked.

"S- sorry, I thought I had left something here. Aren't you two siblings?"

"Nope, I'm Ethan's roommate." Y/N piped up then kissed me, making sure Emma was watching.

"You didn't leave anything here Emma." I said smiling at her as Y/N kissed my neck.

"Okay, um, thanks for today Ethan."

"Yeah, bye Emma!" Emma closed the door and I looked back at Y/N who was laughing. "What's so funny?"

"You! You're funny!"

"I don't know if that's a compliment or not!"

"Both!" I rolled my eyes.

"Do you want to watch a movie?"

"Yes! Let's watch Love Actually/Big Fish!"

I put on Love Actually/Big Fish and Y/N and I snuggled up on the couch together.

What's it been since my last update? 3 months? Yeah... sorry about that lmao! I don't have an excuse for in the holidays, I was just lazy but during the term I had a bunch of assessments so that's why it took me even longer to get this chapter out. Please don't shoot me! :/
