Ethan's POV

I was excited, I had never gone out for dinner with y/n and her friends. We had gone out for dinner before, obviously, but whenever she goes out with her friends I'm not allowed to go.

There was still about an hour before we left so I had some time to kill. 

I leaned out my door and yelled across the apartment, "Hey y/n, do I need to dress fancy?"

"Uh, yeah I think somewhat fancy." She yelled back at me, I nodded and ducked my head back into my room.

I had to look good for y/n's friends so I went into my bathroom and started to strip for a shower, I have really quick showers so it was only about 5 minutes and that was including washing my hair. I stepped out and started wiping myself down.

"Hey, Etha- OH MY GOSH!" I looked over to the door where y/n was stood with her hand covering her eyes. I wrapped the towel around myself as fast as I could.

"y/n what the hell?!"

"Are you covered?"

"Yes. I am now." y/n slowly parted her fingers in front of her eyes to make sure I did have my towel around myself.

"Okay good. I am so sorry." y/n started to chuckle which made me start to laugh a bit.

"What did you even want?"

"I wanted to see what you were wearing. I need to make sure I look better than you." y/n smiled to herself and looked down at her phone.

"You wouldn't need to try very hard to do that." y/n's eyes shot up from her phone and smiled as her cheeks became a rosy pink.

"Anyway, what were you going to wear?"

"I don't know, probably just a button down and jeans with some nice shoes."

"Okay, cool thanks." y/n smiled and walked out very cheerfully, unlike the very awkward walk out of the bathroom I did.

Your POV

I walked out of Ethan's room and shut the door, I leaned against the wall just next to his door and gave myself a moment, after all,  I was feeling a bit hot and flustered after what I saw. I took a deep breath, went and got a glass of water and headed for my room.

"y/n?"

I turned around and looked at Ethan who had his head poking out of his door.

"Yeah?"

"I am very sorry that you had to see that."

"It's okay, it's not like it was the first dick that I had ever seen." 

Ethan's eyes widened. "What?"

"No, I'm kidding, it was, it was pretty weird looking."

"Okay then, that's rude." I started laughing and Ethan smiled.

"Alright well, we will reconvene in about half an hour." I walked into my room and shut the door and Ethan did the same.

I got ready somewhat quickly, I don't wear makeup so that saved me about an hour but it did take me a while to pick out what I was going to wear. I decided on a flowy maxi dress with a slit up the side that I made with a pair of some simple heels and I couldn't be bothered to do something fancy with my hair so I just left it out.

I walked out to the lounge room and Ethan was sitting on the couch on his phone. He leaned his head off the back of the couch to look at me. When he saw me, his head spun around properly, he gulped as he looked me up and down.

"Wow, you look beautiful."

I bit my lip a bit and smiled at the floor. "Merci beaucoup." I looked back up at him, "you look very dapper."

Ethan was wearing a button down and jeans, just as he said, as well as a blazer. He stood up and tried to straighten his jacket but popped his collar in the process, I walked over to him and flattened his collar for him.

I rested my hands on his collarbones and we looked into his eyes. "We should probably go." I spun around and headed for the door.

"y/n." I looked over my shoulder at Ethan. "I mean it, you really do look beautiful."

I  smiled at him and he smiled back at me. "Thank you."
