“I’m telling everyone that the wedding is postponed until further notice, then I will be there, give me ten minutes.” I told Rachel walking out of the small room. I walked down the hallway and into the main hall. The piano man didn’t have enough warning so he tried to start playing. “don’t bother.” I told him as I walked past, and up the isle. I was quickly up the top with my brother at once side. “hey, finally.” He told me. “excuse me!” I yelled over everyone’s chatter. “hi, I need to say something.” Everyone soon hushed. “I am really sorry for the trouble but there will be no wedding today.” It was so hard to get those words out.
“WHAT?” was the first thing I heard, and it came from my left. “so he thinks that he can propose to you, then just leave you at the alter, oh when-” “Finn, please. It’s not what you think.” I told him. “He isn’t feeling well, both Rachel and Sam are over there now.” I told him. my dad was at my side. “is everything ok?” he asked me. “Blaine can’t make it, he isn’t feeling the best.” I told him. “are you sure he is second guessing?” Dad asked. “I know he wouldn’t” I told him. I hope he wasn’t getting Rachel to lie to me. “Then something is wrong, I’ll drive you there.” Dad said. I smiled and we walked out of the church.
As we parked behind Rachel’s car I spotted Sam at the door. “I wouldn’t go in there.” He warned me. “Move.” I told him, shoving past. I opened the door and saw a pulsing Blaine in very scared Rachel’s arms. “Blaine!” she screamed, trying to hold him still. I froze with shock. My almost husband was thrashing about on the floor and I didn’t know how to help him. he finally stopped, and I took a breath that I had been holding. Rachel whipped her head around. “How many time’s has he done that?” were the words that came out of my mouth. “twice.” She told me. before I could think to move I was down by his side with my phone in one hand, his hand in the other. “It’s ok, I’m here.” I told him, holding the phone to my ear.
“Hello 911 operator, what’s your situation?” a woman asked. “uh hi, I have my fiancé here, we were meant to be getting married today but he never showed up, so I sent my friend to his house. He’s been beat up and he is now having seizure’s.” I explained. “ok, does he have epilepsy?” she asked. “No,” I told her. “ok, where are you?” she asked me. “oh 12 Fishers Drive, Lima, Ohio, Is there anything I can do to stop them?” I asked her. “I need you to roll him onto his left side, and place something soft under his head, then roll him back.” She told me. I did what was instructed and gabbed a cushion off the couch and tucked it under his head.
“ok, that’s done, is there anything else I could do?” “Has it stopped?” “Yes, and he is breathing.” I told her, glad that he had stopped thrashing about. “There is nothing you can do, just stay with him and an ambulance will be there shortly.” “Ok, thank you.” I told her. “Don’t hang up, just incase he has another seizure ok ma’am.” She told me. “Oh you have I mixed up, I’m not a woman.” I told her, trying to laugh. “Oh I am so sorry sir, your voice is very high, but congratulations on your marriage, I hope you and your fiancé will be happy.” She told me. “Thanks you.” I smiled; some people can be so nice. I felt a hand on my shoulder, I quickly took my eyes off Blaine to see who it was, Dad. “the paramedic’s are here.” he told me. “you may hang up the phone now sir, have a good day and I am so sorry your day wasn’t the way you planned.” She told me. “ok, thank you bye.” I hung up the phone.
