“where are you?” I asked him. “right now I’m sitting at my breakfast bar, but for you it should be opposite you, at the kitchen table.” I looked at the computer. “are you skyping me?” I laughed. “yeah, Rachel thought of it, apparently you get panicked easily, and I know talking to you helps me.” he laughed. I looked at Rachel and mouthed ‘thank you’ to her. she nodded her head. “I’ll leave you guys to it, but remember Blaine, Eleven.” She warned him as I sat back down. “What’s at eleven?” I asked the computer. “It’s when I have to end the call.” He laughed, knowing we were alone.

We sat ‘together’, if that’s what you want to call it, for breakfast. We didn’t say one word for two hours about what we were planning today; it was just like a normal day. “Kurt, honey. I need to go.” He told me. “It’s ok, I’ll be seeing you in an hour anyway.” I told him. “I want you to know that I can’t wait for this morning to be over.” He told me. “I know, neither can i.” I smiled. “I lover you Mr. Anderson.” He told me. “Hey! We agreed I’m keeping my last name, it’s Anderson- Hummel.” He laughed back at me. “I love you Kurt. You are my soul mate.” “And you are mine,” I told him. “I love you.” And with that he ended the call.

I got up and cleared the plate that I used for my French toast. I still can’t believe Rachel didn’t burn a thing. I opened the bin to scrape the crusts into the bin and there I saw the four pieces of toast in the bin, completely burnt black. I smiled to myself, that’s the Rachel I know and love. I finished clearing the table and walked back to my room to get changed. I heard Rachel coming up the hallway.

“Thank you, I was starting to completely freak out.” I told her without turning around. “I know you, not as well as Blaine, but I know you.” She told me. “I know what your like under pressure, not the best. I just didn’t know how to help. So I talked with Blaine like, weeks ago-” “Rachel, I don’t care how you did it.” I told her turning around. “I’m just glad you did, and I’m glad that you’re my best woman.” I told her. She smiled. “Hey, what are best friends for?” she asked. “true, but right now I need to get changed, so…” she took the hint and left. I got changed into the white shirt and pants, toped of with the vest and my favorite bow tie, red with slightly darker red four leaf clovers randomly over it. “are you sure they go together?” a voice asked me. “Mercedes?” I said turning around. Standing in my door way was my other best friend. “hey sweet cakes?” she said as I ran into her arms.

“So, what’s with the red?” she asked. “You should remember.” I told her, tying it up. She thought long and hard about it. “Nope, what about it?” she asked me, I rolled my eyes. “tots.” I told her. “you have them?” she asked. “no, remember when sue took them away, well that was about the same time I met Blaine. I actually kind of went out of a date with him, I guess you could call it, and you were the third wheel.” I explained the memory. “oh yeah, I remember now. A purse fell out of your mouth.” “wait, What?” I asked her. “oh nothing, so how does that night go with the tie?” she asked, changing the subject. “ugh, I wore this tie with my outfit. And since I can’t wear what I wanted to I thought that I could wear this.” I told her. “that’s so romantic.” She told me.
