“Kurt, some people are here for you.” Rachel said walking past my room, heading to the bathroom. I wonder who could be here. We were meeting everyone at the church. As I walked out into the lounge room I could hear a voice I recognized. “I just can’t believe it.” He said. I walked into the room and standing there was my dad and Carole. “Dad?” I asked him, walking towards him. He turned around, “hey Kiddo.” he smiled at me, and I could tell how proud he was. I ran into his arms.

“Hey, What’s with the tears?” he asked me as I pulled back. “I seriously don’t know.” I told him, wiping them away but making sure I didn’t much up my make up. “Kurt, we wanted to give this to you.” Carole said handing me a fake blue rose. “I wore is when I married your mother, and I know she would want you to have it.” Dad told me, hugging Carole closer. I was glad he had her now that I was in New York. He deserves to be happy. “Thank you.” I told him, as I pinned it to my vest. “Now, shall we get to the church? Or do you want to be late?” Rachel asked us. I nodded and e all walked out to the cars. I rode with Rachel and Mercedes.
