Chapter 7~ Lady Menchi

Killua's P.O.V.
"Wait a sec..." I say. "Is that..."
"Menchi~Sensei?" (F/N) and I say simultaneously.
"Sure does look like her." I mutter.
"Wait, you mean you know her?" Gon asks (F/N) and I.
"Yeah, she was our cooking teacher when we were in the same high school." Killua explains.
"Cut the small talk! We gotta pay attention to what she's going to say." Leorio shushes us.
Whoever she was, she was sitting in a large couch, with a large man right behind her. He was pretty fat.
"Hello fellow examinees! Congratulations with Phase One, and moving onto Phase Two. I am your Phase Two Examiner, Menchi." Menchi states.
"And I'm Buhara, Menchi's assistant." Buhara states.
"So it really is her..." I softly mutter. "Welp. I'm not to surprised. She always hated me anyways..." I turn my head to see (F/N) with sparkles in her eyes. She looks really excited. I can't help but just smile. I hear a loud grumble that makes the floor shake, it got almost everyone's attention immediately.
"Oh, your hungry Buhara?" Menchi turns her head and looks at Buhara's hungry eyes.
"I'm starving..." He says like a poor depressed puppy.
"Well then..." Menchi says.
"Phase Two will involve..." Menchi stood up from her couch.
"Please say cooking please say cooking please say cooking!" (F/N) repeatedly says.
"Cooking!" Menchi holds her first finger up.
"YES!" (F/N) exclaims.
"Cooking? Why cooking?" I could hear everybody wonder.
"We are here to take the Hunter's Exam, not to cook!" Someone exclaims and then bursts into laughter.
"We are doing this because we are gourmet hunters!" Menchi states once again. I can hear everybody burst into laughter, (F/N)'s face looks like it's about to explode. Menchi looks like she was being humiliated badly.
"SHUT UP, ALL OF YOU!" (F/N) screams. Everyone stays silent. "JUST LIKE ANY OTHER HUNTER, GOURMET HUNTERS HOLD THEIR HEAD UP HIGH!" Now every single contestant was staring at (F/N). She really has the guts to speak like that in front of so many people...
"Huh? Who said that?" Menchi says and stares off into the crowd. (F/N) raises her hand.
"I did!" (F/N) exclaims.
"Wait... is that... (F/N) is that really you?" Menchi says eagerly.
"Yup!" (F/N) says as she runs to the front of the crowd excusing everyone in sight. "Hi, Menchi~Sensei!" (F/N) runs towards her and hugs her tightly.
"(F/N)? But how? Wasn't the first phase hard?" Menchi says. (F/N) and Menchi were greeting each other, like if they had all the time in the world.
"Is there anybody with you?" Menchi asks.
"Yeah, Killua is, along with Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio. Some friends I met along the Hunter's Exam!" (F/N) says with a cute little puppy face. I am in shock since (F/N) would out names in front of a whole crowd. I tuck my head in my long sleeve that is underneath my white T-Shirt with embarrassment.
"O-oh... that's great..." Menchi says with a pissed off look on her face. I'm guessing that face is about me.
"Catch ya later!" (F/N) exclaims as she runs back towards the crowd facing her and waving at her, Menchi waves back. That took long enough.
My head was still tucked in my shirt, and I have my hair messier than usual.
"Now that that's settled with... Buhara, tell them what you are supposed to do for Phase Two." Menchi claps her hands and Buhara comes out from behind her.
"The required ingredient will be pork. Your free to use any meat from the Biska Forest that are from any pigs. You must use the cooking facilities that are here for preparing your pork." Buhara points at the section where there are mini counters with a sink, knife, cutting board, including a bowl full of vegetables. "You may pass only if we find your cooking delicious." Buhara explains.
"We will also evaluate more than just taste. So don't underestimate the intricacies of cooking. Got it?" Menchi tells everyone with a stern look.
"As for you, (F/N), you may prepare any dish you wish to do so!" Menchi states out loud and smiles at (F/N).
"Let the exams, BEGIN!" Buhara yells and everyone dashes off into the forest. I dash off into the forest with Gon and (F/N)... I wish that I had her luck, and mostly...
Her kindness.
(F/N)'s P.O.V.
I'm super happy that Menchi~Sensei is our examiner for this phase, what a coincidence!
"It looks like your really happy." Killua says.
     "Of course I am! So, we are supposed to get some pork, right?" I ask Killua.
     "Yeah. But your able to make anything you want that that is in the Biska Forest." Killua explains.
     "Meh... I'll stick with pork." I reply.
     "Ok, whatever you say, cutie." Killua smirks and winks at me. I blush and look away.
     "Hey, guys! Look over there!" Gon whispers as he crouches down into a bush. Everyone else crouches as well.            
     "Is that a pig?" Killua asks.
     "Uh... I don't really know..." I reply. "T-they're eating, bones..?" I stutter. I lean forward a little too much and accidentally fall, hitting my head on a carnivore pig's torso. The pig notices immediately and intends to hit me, but I do a back hand spring to get away.
     "Dude, these pigs are DANGEROUS!" I scream as I sprint away from the pig. The pig is still heading towards me...
     "(F/N)!" Kurapika, Leorio, Killua and Gon yell at me. The pig was still running towards me, then it's the whole herd that is running towards the whole group. Everyone crouching in the bush immediately sprints away, including me.
     "WHAT IS UP WITH THESE PIGS?!" I scream out the top of my lungs.
     "HOW IN THE WORLD WILL I KNOW? JUST RUN!" Killua yells back. As soon as we notice, we find examinees that have already given up on trying to find a pig. Until we show up, with a whole herd of pigs chasing us from behind.
     "Guys, up here!" I yell. I climb up a tree and the rest of the group follows me. I hear a little bark inside my backpack, then there peeps out Snowflake, sticking her tongue out, flecking slobber into my face. Snowflake reaches out to Gon, but then falls off the backpack and lands on the pig's head. The pig lets out a little yelp.
     "Snowflake!" I yell as I hop down to get her. "Wait a sec..." I told myself. The weakness is it's head! I scoop the little ball of fur into my arms, then put her in my backpack. I search for a thick stick and then mash the stick into the pig's forehead, making it drop dead. Everyone cheers and gets down from the tree.
     "Yay! You rock!" Gon cheers out loud.
     "That was amazing!" Killua high fives me.
     "You really saved us this time." Leorio says with a bright smile on his face.
     "Thank you." Kurapika simply says.
     "Awe, thanks guys... I'm glad you support me all the way! Now, c'mon lets go get some pigs for you guys!" I exclaim with a big grin. This is the adventure that I'm seeking for...
     Something that no one will be able to rewrite.
