(F/N)'s P.O.V.
"Now, who's ready to fight?" The man says. Everyone is silent, and they start to make their decision on who should go.
"So, nobody wants to go?" The man breaks the silence. "Well then, I'll get to choose. How about..." He points his finger around which person should go, kind of like a compass. "YOU!" He points at me.
"I was going to volunteer until you decided to choose who should go," I say. "Let's get this over with."
I hand Snowflake over to Killua to watch over her. Gon and Leorio start to wonder what will happen to me, and they start to freight. On the other hand, Kurapika and Killua are looking forward to what will come to this fight. I mark my position on the arena floor, and so does he.
"Sorry for you little girl, but I've got other plans," He tells me. "I declare a death match!" He booms. The people behind him the group behind me gasp. I stay with the same expression and still, I don't give a crap.
"So, you think a death match is going to change this fight?" I say. He turns towards to me and frowns.
"You think your all high and mighty, huh? Lets see about that!" He attacks at a quick speed and leans his two arms forward at me, I don't move a bit. As he gets closer to me, I react quickly and appear at the other side of the arena.
"Oh, so you're not that hopeless." He says. He lounges at me again, but this time, I don't move.
"WATCH OUT!" Gon yells. Snowflake digs herself into Killua's arms and whimpers. But, the next thing you know...
Squish.
"GAAH!" He yells in pain. I was already at the other side of the arena with dual swords in my hands. His hand was spilling blood all over his arm and the arena floor. The deep cut on his hand convinces him that I'm just too strong for him.
My eyes are blazing with blue. My hair is as white as the snow. I remember though, the night Killua took me to the hospital. They can't see it. They can't see my inner self. I suppose that, no one can see my blades as well.
"I, I GIVE!" The man screams. I turn to look at him, as my swords slowly dissolve away from my hands. Slowly, I walk towards him. He crawls away from me at a rapid speed, still looking at me. He's in shock.
"Now, do you think that is fight has changed, because of your little manipulations..?" I question him with a soft voice. My eyes were lifeless. His blood slowly drops on the floor. I kneel down to him and look at his hand.
"This fight is over. I can see it in your eyes." I whisper in his ear. He opens his eyes widely and stands up.
"Fine! But the next time we meet, I'll be stronger, and I will kill you!" He twinges and grabs his hand. He was sent to another room to take care of his injury. Everyone was quiet and in shock. I walk back to the group, and I don't think they notice that I walk right pass them. I wipe the blood away from my hands.
"Uh, guys? You okay?" I ask. Gon rapidly shakes his head from all of the confusion, and smiles.
"WOAH! YOU WERE AMAZING!" Gon exclaims and smiles.
"You think I was?" I mutter.
"Of course! But I was worried for you!" Gon says.
"And so was I." Leorio says.
"That was one hell of a performance!" Killua smiles.
"Bark bark!" Snowflake barks.
"Thanks guys..." I say. "But I do feel bad of hurting someone, it doesn't feel right. Thanks for the compliments."
"Hey, that guy must have been some weirdo that murdered people! HOW DO YOU FEEL BAD OF HURTING HIM?!" Leorio exclaims.
"Leorio, calm down!" Kurapika tells him. "Don't you see her face? I think she has been through enough already. She may have just hurt someone, but that doesn't mean she has to walk away all high and mighty." Kurapika explains to Leorio.
"Whatever, lets just continue," I mutter to myself. I grab my backpack with Snowflake inside, and walk away from the ledge, waiting for another fight to begin.
As the fight goes on with Gon and some weird skinny guy, Killua approaches me and sits down next to me.
"Hey, uh, I just wanted to tell you, you did great back there," Killua says.
"Thanks, I appreciate it." I tell him.
"But, there's also something else I want to tell you."
"What is it?"
"Those dual blades in your hands, where did you get them? And most importantly, how did you get them?"
Suddenly, we hear Gon screaming and he was saying, "Hot, hot!"
"We can talk about it later! Right now, we have something else to focus on!" I tell Killua.
Damn it, I hope Gon isn't in so much trouble at the moment..!
Killua's P.O.V.
(F/N) and I rush over to the ledge, finding a Gon in a sticky situation. He had a candle with wax melting down, because the flame of the candle is way too strong.
"Hot, Hot!" Gon says as he tosses the candle back and forth.
"There's really nothing for us to do here... We just have to put faith in Gon," Kurapika sighs.
"Your right... We can't do anything," I reply. "Even if we could, we would only be interfering with Gon's battle."
"Alright then. I'll follow your example," (F/N) announces.
After a while, Gon eventually figures out on what to do, and blows out the candle of the opponent.
"Way to go, Gon!" Leorio exclaims. "All we need is Kurapika and I to win, and we will be able to go on!" Leorio cheers. I smile and high five Gon.
"Nice thinking, bud," I say.
"Thanks!" Gon replies. I turn to look at (F/N) and she simply smiles at Gon and I, I blush.
"Ooooh, somebody's in love~" Gon smirks at me.
"Shut up Gon! We were already in a relationship anyways..." I start to blush even more. (F/N) looks away and giggles softly.
"Oh, okay," Gon says with a blank face.
Over on the other side of the arena...
"Shoot! I nearly had him!" The guy that fought Gon says.
"You fool. If you want to fool someone, it isn't by using cheap tricks. You just have to sacrifice yourself a little bit, just watch." A mysterious man with blue skin says. The handcuffs come undone as he slowly walks towards the arena.
Along with (F/N) and the group...
"Alright, guess I'll be going," Kurapika says. "Wish me luck."
Little did he know that he will show his friends a sneak peek of his past while he battles the fat deaf smurf...
As well for Leorio, as he will make the group fall behind and lead them to the verge of losing the Hunter's Exam...
