As she expected Amy was waiting in front of the boutique with an angry look on her face looking around probably searching for her. Amy sighed when she saw her coming. "Oh geez, I thought you ran away because you really hate shopping." Sandra smiled at her friend and looked down on the bracelet she wore on her hand. "Wow that is a pretty bracelet were did you get it from?" Amy mind was taken away from the fact that she was angry while closely looking at the piece of jewelry on her friend's hand. "It looks really expansive and ancient like a piece of treasure."
"A generous woman gave me for helping her Carry her bags."
"Sandra, always the caring one. Okay, let's get started we have a long day ahead of us." True to Amy's word, they did have a very long tiring day with Sandra being forced by her friend to try almost all the cloth in the boutique. Amy also bought some for herself at the end of the day, Sandra was so tired unlike her friend who had a very huge smile on her face.
"Why should I buy this much cloth when the dinner is just for one night?"
"Because there will be other future dinners." Amy said in a bored tune.
"You must be joking right? 'Other dinners' I don't think they will invite me again after this dinner coz I will surely do something that will make them all hate me."
"Don't talk like that San, you are the sweetest girl I have ever met and they will definitely love you."
Sandra smiled at her but she still had an atom of doubt in her. She was not all that sweet as Amy had said, its just that Amy has learned how to tolerate her.Sandra sighed heavily when the salesgirl handed her three heavy bags full of clothes. Amy and Sandra each paid for themselves and they went straight to the car. Amy dropped her off and Sandra ran upstairs to take a long shower.

Okay so today is the day I finally have dinner with Max's parent and if I tell you am not a little bit nervous...haha, let me tell you AM SUPER NERVOUS. Like really really really nervous. So I started my day as usual which is waking up by 6am because today is Sunday, had my bath, did my business in the toilet, had pancake and coffee for breakfast. Got dressed for church and I made sure I hurried so I wouldn't miss the 8am mass. The only thing that was different in my routine was the fact that my mind kept on going back to the fact that I would be visiting his parent and I was nervous.
I took a cab to saint Monica's catholic church. The church was really big and you can get lost in it if you are new especially kids. I entered into the church and bowed down as a sign of respect. I saw the priest at the corner preparing to celebrate the mass. I went to the second row of the front seat, it was quite a walk but like I have said before it was a really big church. I sat down close to an elderly woman whom I greeted and she nodded her head in acknowledgment. After some few minutes the bell rang and everyone stood up and the priest went up to the altar to celebrate the mass.
The mass went smoothly for 2 and a half hour. When it was over I went to attend the youth meeting which usually holds after mass. I was happy that I had something to get my mind off the dinner.
When I returned home it was one O'Clock in the afternoon. I slept till 3pm. I took my bath in preparation for the dinner as soon as I wore the robe, I heard a knock on the door and I rushed to open it because I know that Amy wasn't a patient girl.
"Hey"
"Hi. So how are you doing?" Amy asked as she went into the room with Sandra tagging along.
"Am sooooo nervous"
"No need to be. I would make you look very presentable." Amy was here to get me ready. "Sit down here let me start with the makeup...don't worry it won't be heavy." Amy said when Sandra was about to interrupt her.
