The boys were just looking at Ash. Her make-up was worn out, her hair were a perfect mess, and they could smell alcohol from her.

"Miss, can we ask what are you doing here?" Raj asked, finally breaking the silence.

"M..m..m..me?" She stuttered nervously.

"I think there is only one miss?" Roger said irritated.

"Y...ye...yeah. I...I....was....living..."

"You was?"

"Itookaroomonrenthere." She said it all in one breath.

The boys were shocked. They requested the owner not to give any other the extra room in their flat, but he did gave it to a girl. And Ash was also equally shocked. She didn't expected in her wildest dreams that the faces she hate so much would become her housemates.

"Sorry, but I think we can't let a girl stay at our flat." Ryan said.

"We agree."

Ash froze at that moment. The room was her last hope, otherwise she has to go back to India, which she didn't wanted to happen. And she didn't even had the money now because the she paid the dealer the first rent and it was non refundable. She also didn't wanted to live with the boys, but this was the least she can afford.

"No! Please let me stay. I'll do anything. From cleaning to laundry and cooking food and groceries- I'll do it all alone. I'll also pay my rent timely and contribute in bills and stuff. But don't kick me out. Please!" She bent on her knees and pulled the legs of one of them.

"Oh! Leave my leg!" Rohan shouted.

"No. Till you all allow me to stay. I even paid the rent and put my things in the third room. Please don't do this to me!"

"Oh god! This chicken-head rants so much!" Roger said irritatedly.

"Okay fine! We'll discuss it together." Rohan said as Ash left his leg and got up.

The boys went into another room, and locked the door behind her. Now what Ash has to do was just wait. She was praying that they agree.

"Now what to do guys?" Rohan said as they all sat down.

"What? Kick that chicken-head out of our flat!" Roger said.

"But I think there is much reason in her saying. She looks really desperate for a home right now. And I think she can also do much work that we can't, like cleaning." Ryan said.

"But don't you think it would be a harm to our privacy if that girl lives in our flat! Like, we couldn't roam shirtless out of our rooms. And won't she feel uncomfortable with 4 boys living with her?" Raj argued.

"But I don't think she seem uncomfortable." Rohan said and all four of them sighed.

"So what to do?" Roger asked.

"I think we should let her stay." Ryan said.

"I agree." Rohan said.

"But we disagree." Raj and roger said in unison.

"Oh god! This is getting tough!" Rohan said and ran his hands through his hair.

"Or I can agree. But I need to see how she works." Raj said and smirked. All of the four looked at him.

"How?"

"Come with me." He said and they all went out of the room.

"Okay Ash. We can agree, but you have to do a little work for us." Raj said.

Ash's eyes brightened.

"What work?" She asked excitedly.

"Listen. As you can see, the living area is very much dusty and needs cleaning. Also, the dishes in kitchen also are dirty. So, I want you to clean the living room and wash the dishes. Okay?" He said.

Ash's eyes widened. Are they asking her to do house chores? Did she applied for a maid?

"Okay. I'll do it by 12." She said sadly.

"That's great. Now get to work. We are going for some work outside." He said as they all went outside.

Ash looked round the room. The room was really dirty and not the nice one which she saw last afternoon. She first freshened up, tied a cloth on her hair, took the vacuum cleaner and started cleaning the mess.

"Its time to show them what you got!" She said to herself and started cleaning.

"Why did you asked her to do all this?" Rohan asked raj as they sat inside the car.

"Its like hitting two targets by one stone. Its like a punishment for her for insulting roger, and also we could test her as well."

"And I really love you for this. You always have an alternate. She would really run out of our flat seeing the mess in the kitchen." Roger said patting Raj's back as they drove through the alley.

When they reached home in the afternoon, their mouths were wide open with shock. The living room was never so clean before. Not even a speck of dust they could find. When raj entered the kitchen, he found that all the dishes were nicely cleaned.

"Hey guys! Actually I also did some cleaning of the kitchen so...." She stopped when she saw everyone looking at her.

"What happened?" She asked breaking the silence.

"This is fantastic! You can live here forever!" Raj said happily, making others look at him.

"Whatever." Roger mumbled and rolled his eyes.

"Really?" She asked as she couldn't believe her eyes. The most serious guy was excited like a three-year old child.

"Yes! You are comfortable with this na? Like alone girl with four boys?" Rohan asked.

"I don't have any problem, till you don't start acting like perverts." She said and put her hand on her mouth in shock.

"Sorry. I didn't meant that!" She said smiling sheepishly.

"Its okay." He said.

"So let's just not waste time in this and get ready? We have college today!" Roger said as all the four went into their respective rooms. Then she realised that while raj and Rohan live in one room, roger and ryan live in other one. So she also got up and went inside her room.
