Lets talk about love, baby! (Part-1)

Ash walked, or say ran towards the canteen. She was embarrassed by what was about to happen, and was equally shocked by listening to what Rohan said.

She entered the canteen and saw Rohan and Ryan sitting on a table, talking about stuff.

"What did you said? You're gonna be my partner in a project?" She asked while breathing hard because of running.

"No, I was just having fun. And see your expressions..." He said and they both started laughing.

Ash stood there, shocked. So, that was a mere joke. By the guys.

"What the hell!" She said angrily. Rohan estimated what was about to happen.

"Okay. I'm going first..." He said sheepishly and started walking.

"Rohan Patel!" Ash screamed and started running behind him. It was like a cat is running behind a mouse. Ash was the cat, and Rohan was, of course, the mouse.

They were running all over the canteen. Ash was running when suddenly her foot touched the slippery ground. She was about to slip, but someone caught her from behind. Ash looked and gasped, as that person was none other than Roger.

"Why are you running?" He asked in his same mocking, but cute baritone.

"Huh?" Ash was just kinda lost in his features. Chocolate brown eyes, perfect dark brown hair that were messed a bit, soft pink lips which could make any girl just go and kiss them. She hadn't seen any guy this much close, and now she was seeing that guy who's like the dream man of every girl.

"What? Ash?" He said and waved his hand in front of her eyes, taking her out of the trance.

"Huh? I'm sorry." She said and looked down at the floor.

"Why you're sorry? Its his fault. I'm sorry on his behalf." He said plainly.

"Uh, no. Its fine." She said not looking into his eyes and tucking her hair behind her ears.

Rohan and Ryan were shocked listening to what Roger said.

"What's happening?" Ryan whispered in Rohan's ears, still shocked.

"I don't know. I think this girl has something." Rohan said and both of them nodded.

"Hey guys! We have an announcement!" A girl entered the canteen and said loudly, grabbing other's attention.

"Our college is organising a fresher's party tomorrow. Sorry for late announcement, but even I got to know that now. So, they are inviting all the students to the college. The party will start from 8 pm. And yes, everyone would be needing a partner for the entry. Its mandatory. So see you there guys!" She said and walked towards the exit. Soon, everyone started talking about the party.

"What the hell! Now how could I find a partner in 36 hours!" Ash frowned.

"So what's the problem? You have the three most handsome guys sitting in front of you." Rohan said.

"You really wanna go with me?" She asked smirking.

"Of course not. I'll find someone better." He said and she frowned.

"Why don't you ask your Lee?" Roger asked nonchalantly.

"He has a girlfriend." She said sighing.

"Ohhhh..." All the three said in unison.

"Hey ash! Have you listened?" Sharmaine came and asked her.

"Yeah. I did." She said nonchalantly.

"So what to do with partner?" She asked.

"What? Let's become partner. You and I are so compatible." She sarcastically said.

"No. I would find a boy." She said.

In the evening(at the house)

All the four boys were sitting in the living room, tensed. Ash was in her room, studying.

"What to do with partners?" Rohan asked.

"What? Let's go in pairs. After all, you would look quite beautiful as my partner." Ryan said looking seductively at Rohan. Rohan slapped his head, and everyone laughed.

"What about asking our other mate?" Rohan said and everyone looked at him in shock.

"What do you think? That chicken-head will agree?" Roger asked irritatedly.

"Of course. Just wait and watch." Rohan winked and paced towards the kitchen,where Ash was preparing dinner.

"Hey sweetheart!" Rohan said and sat on the kitchen counter where Ash was cooking.

"What?" She asked irritatedly.

"I'm hungry." He said and dramatically ran his hand on his stomach.

"There's time. You can have an apple in the mean time." She said and handed him an apple, still engrossed in her work.

"Okay. So, you know, that the fresher's is about to come..." He started.

"So?"

"I'm still free, you know."

"So?"

"You're also free..."

"So?" She said, this time a bit loud.

"You can be my partner." He said making Ash stop her work and look at him.

"What? I think you were the one who said that he would find better than me?" She said and Rohan opened his mouth.

"No! I didn't meant that." He said looking down.

"Sorry. But Ryan already asked me out. And I agreed." She said and Rohan again opened his mouth in shock.

"Ryan? When?"

"When you were out of the class." She said.

"Ah! Forget him. I'm going with you." He said.

"No. I'm going with him. And why don't you ask Nikita? I'm sure she won't refuse." Ash said and smirked.

"Nikita? She's a risky girl."

"Risky? You're asking just for two hours, not for two years."

"Yeah. I'll see." He said sadly and went out of the kitchen. The other three were standing there, eavesdropping on their conversation. When he came out, they all started giggling, which made him groan.

"What? Did you started eavesdropping like girls do?" He yelled at them.

"Girls don't eavesdrop." Ash yelled from behind for which all the three started laughing hard.

"Mr. Rohan got pissed off." Ryan said while laughing.

"I don't care." Rohan said angrily and stormed into his room.

"Hey! Where would I sleep tonight?" Raj said and went behind him.

"So, you asked her out?" Roger asked Ryan after both went out.

"Yeah...." He smiled sheepishly.

"Okay. Let's go. Party tomorrow!" He said as they sat on the dinner table.
