From enemies to lovers (Genemau MyStreet)

Chapter 4

Aphmau POV:
These days with Gene were great, we had a lot of fun and stuff, sometimes I go to his place in the time of night, my friends still didn't find out, only Dante and KC knows, but one night we had a dream: we were in a house, a little bit older, we found a room for babies, in a crib we saw two babies, the girl had jet black hair, caramel eyes like mine and a fair skin, the boy had a tan skin, raven black hair and shade blue eyes like Gene's, then we woke up. It was really weird, but we always thought: this dream showed us our future? We don't know... now it is the middle of July, today we are going to my mom's and Eric's place, I groan "I swear if my mom asks you if you're my boyfriend, I will go crazy." he says "I won't mind it, don't worry." I give him a smile, he smiles back. I knock at the door, Eric answers "Oh Aphmau, hello little one! Who is this young man?" I say "This is Gene, my friend." he looks at him "Oh! You are Maria's first son!" Gene says "Yes I am sir." Eric yells "Sylvana! Aph and Gene are here! Come in kids!" we enter "Mija! So good to see you!" mom hugs me "Oh Gene! I haven't seen you since you were a child! Look how big you are, a handsome man!" his cheeks turn light pink "You didn't cause any trouble right? I know you were a little rebel in high school." Gene says "I am a nice guy now miss Sylvana." mom crosses her arms "I know you bullied my daughter in high school, why?" I sigh "Because he had a crush on me, Dante told me a few days ago." mom raises an eyebrow "A crush on you?" Gene says "Many guys fell in love with her! She is nice, smart, beautiful." he blushes more "Aph please help." I say "And you said no boys, now you want me to have a boyfriend???" she says "I want grandchildren!" we blush deep red "I want grandchildren too!" I say "I don't think Katelyn is ready for kids yet." mom says "So Mija, are you two dating?" I groan "Mom!!!" Gene says "We're not and she's not with Aaron." mom sighs "Ok then, I guess I have to find someone for you." I say "What if I want to date Gene?" I hold his hand, his face is like a cherry, mom smiles "That would be great!" I smile "I can't believe I said that, but i'm happy that I said it." I hear someone yell "I KNEW IT!" we look behind "I KNEW IT WAS GENE! I saw you with him at the ice cream shop with Nicole!" I start to panic "Katelyn!" she says "Don't you even dare to touch her Gene! I know what you did to her in high school!" I frown "If you hurt her, you are dead!" I get mad "KATELYN I LOVE HIM!" my eyes at what I said, Katelyn and Gene are shocked and mom jumps happily "Sugar Pea, please calm down, if Aph wants to date Gene, then let her. You know who is his mom?" Katelyn says "Is it miss Maria?" Gene nods "Sorry dad, i'm very protective when is about Aphmau. Gene, you won't hurt her?" he says "I changed, I know Ivy did too, I would never hurt Aphmau!" he hugs me "Fine..." I smile and hug him back.

*time skip*
"Aphmau, it was true what you said? You... love me?" I blush "I guess, these days with you were great and I think my heart told me that I love you." he says "You want to date me?" I nod "I... don't know... what to say..." I say "You don't have to say anything." I put my head on his shoulder and we walk to his place. We decide to watch a movie, play a few games and make jokes, we even make shadows on the walls, it's fun, I really fell in love with this guy.

*the next day*
I yawn and open my eyes, I look at my phone, it's 12pm, we stayed late... wait a minute... this isn't my room, I look near me and blush dark red, Gene is still asleep, we slept in the same bed "He looks cute when he sleeps." I look closer "His hair is a mess." I want to kiss him! Hmmm... I kiss his forehead, he starts to move "Wake up Genie" he groans "Mom... don't call me that..." I giggle "It's me Aphmau" his eyes open "Wait what?" he looks around "Did we just... slept together?" I nod "Oh... my... Irene..." I laugh "Did you kiss me?" I say "Your forehead" he blushes. I lean closer until our lips touch, he seems shocked at first, but he kisses back, I feel butterflies flying in my stomach, we break the kiss "Maybe we should date." he smiles "Yeah... we should..."

Gene POV:
She kissed me, I think I was on cloud nine, she kissed me! I can die happily "Gene!!" I get out of the trance "Sorry, I was just thinking." she smiles "Let's put this on the tree!" I nod. There is a love tree on Love~Love Paradise, the couples draw on a paper a heart and inside we write the first letter of our names, we did the same and we wrote G+A, we put the paper near the tree, with magic it sticks itself on the tree "It's beautiful!" I say "Yeah it is." I hold her hand "I love you Aph." she smiles "I love you too Gene." we look again at the love tree, then I put my forehead on hers, staying like this for a while "I will never let you go Aph." she wraps her arms around my neck, then her legs around my waist for a hug, I hold her carefully "I won't leave you Gene."
