We continued riding back to H.Q. It was still pretty far, as well as a large number of titans. They roamed the patches of tree's we passed every few miles.
I looked back down at Skylar. She was still breathing heavily, probably in shock.
To be honest, i would be too. i mean, having your gear run out of power like that in the middle of no where?! that would leave me in the same position.
She started moving as she lifted her hand to grab her wrist, still having her eyes closed.
'Did the brat hurt herself out there?' i asked myself.
I turned my head to look back at her face. Her eyes were slightly showing her bright brown eyes, shadowed by her black hair. She had a pained look on her face.
"Skylar..." i said.
Her eyes bolted up to me. As if i had frightened her. I looked down.
"T-Thank you..." She said softly.
I shot my head to turn towards her.
"For what?" i asked.
"Saving me. I probably wouldn't be her-" She started as i cut her off.
"Don't Mention it, brat" I quickly replied.
"Are you ok?"
"Ill be fine...." She replied.
"You Sure?"
"Y-Yeah...."
