I woke up to the winter sun shining through my yellow curtains. I sat up in my bed and pulled my phone from my bedside table to see that I had a text from Jay.

Smile beautiful xoxox

A large smile spread across my face after reading it. It was really sweet.  I swung my legs over the side of the bed and pushed myself up.  I walked over to my dressing table to brush my hair. I picked up the hairbrush and ran it through my hair. I opened my top drawer and routed through it. I finally found a pink band and was about to close the drawer when I saw a white peace of paper attached to my makeup bag. I pulled it off and read the paper. The number one was circled with You are gorgeous without your makeup.xox. I turned the paper over and saw written on the back text me when you find this. Jay x. I walked over to my bedside table and composed a new message.

Hey Jay. Found the note. Whats going on?xo

I pressed send and walked back to my dresser and continued to put my hair up into a messy bun. I then picked up a lip balm and ran it over my lips. My phone vibrated on the bedside table next to me and started to move in a small circle.

Well, you didn't have a valentines day on the 14th so I'm creating one for you. Just go about your morning normally and you will find the rest. Text me when you find number 2:) xoxoxox

I beamed and felt a tear run down my cheek. This is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me! I walked to the side of my bed and slipped on my slippers onto my feet.

I walked downstairs and struggled to pull out the apple juice carton from my fridge. I pulled my favourite mug out of the cupboard on my wall. I poured the juice into the mug and walked over to my cork board with the mug turning cold from the juice in my hand. I flipped the calendar page over and saw another piece of paper blu-tacked to it. (2) You are really well organized X

I smiled as I pulled my phone from my pj's pocket and sent Jay another text saying;

Found number 2 xoxox.

I pressed send and received a reply almost straight away.

A few hours later.

During the course of the day I have continued to find more sticky notes with things Jay loves about me written on, including I love the way you smile and make me smile, I love your hugs, I love watching movies with you and I love how much you love panda's!

 I was walking round the house when I heard a knock at the door. I walked to it and opened the door and was greeted by a gust of cold wind. I wrapped my grey cardigan around my body. I poked my head around the door and saw no one stood there. I stepped out of the door onto the cold stone floor. I took a few more steps and still saw no one. I turned back to walk into my warm house when I saw another pink note stuck to the door. I pulled the sticky paper from the door and read the note.

I looked at the note with a raised eyebrow wondering why I would need to let Danielle know I had found the note. Without continuing to wonder what was going on I pulled my phone out of my jumper pocket and opened a new message to Danielle.
