Break-Up

SOPHIE'S POV

I sent Danielle and Nicole a message a few minutes later telling them I had a headache and had gone home. I got a reply from Danielle a few minutes later telling me they had all gone on to a club. I walked into Jay's room and picked up my holdall bag I picked up my clothes from the floor and removed the rest from the wardrobe we had once shared. I through them into my bag as well as the other things of mine I found in the room and house.

I grabbed the bag and walked out the door. I drove back to my house and stormed into my house. My mum and dad had gone to spend the night with my aunt and uncle, I pulled my bag up to my room, opened my door and fell onto my bed bursting into tears.

Why?

Why would he do this to me?

I thought he loved me. I guess not.

JAY'S POV

I woke up with an awful hangover and rolled over to see if Sophie was awake. I sat up and scanned the room when I saw that she wasn't laying next to me. She wasn't in the room so I stood up and walked out of the room and downstairs. She wasn't anywhere to be seen. I picked up my phone and saw I had a text from Sophie.

Jay its over. I can't be hurt like that again and I know that if I stay with you I will only get hurt again. Sophie.

WHAT???!!!! What was she talking about hurt her? When did I do that? I had to find out what this was all about. I ran back up the stairs and changed into some clothes and drove to her house I knocked on the door but there was no answer. I tried again and again and again. Still no answer. I stepped back from the house and looked up to her window.

"SOPHIE!" I shouted. No reply.

"Sophie!!"

"Sophie open the door!" 

"Come on Sophie!!!" I continued shouting and still had no reply.

"SOPHIE WHAT DID I DO???!!!" I shouted I stood at the door for a bit more and a few moments later the door opened to reveal Sophie in pj bottoms and a tank to. Her hair was messy and her eyes were red and puffy.

"What did you do!?" She snapped angrily. "YOU CHEATED ON ME!!!!" She shouted in my face.

"What?" I questioned her. I was so confused. When did this happen??

"On new years eve! It went midnight and you and some girl were sucking each others faces off!!!" She continued shouting. What? Was she serious.

"Oh my god" I mumbled. "Sophie I am so sorry.!!" I said about to drop to my knees and beg for forgiveness.

"NO YOU'RE NOT!" She shouted. "YOU DON'T CARE JAY! YOU DON'T LOVE ME AND YOU NEVER HAVE DONE! WAS SHE THE FIRST OR IS THERE OTHERS?!" She continued.

"I do love you Sophie!  From the first day we met I have loved you. Of course there hasn't been others!  It didn't mean anything! I was drunk, I couldn't find you at midnight to kiss you and she just grabbed me and kissed me. Sophie please I love you so much. Please don't end us." I tried reasoning with her.

"And I love you to Jay" I suddenly felt as though I was in with a chance of winning her back. "But I can't be hurt Jay. Not again. I'm sorry" She continued.  She then stepped back into her house and closed the door.

Tears started to stream down my face. I had lost the only girl I had ever loved and it was ill because of a drunken mistake.

SOPHIES POV

I closed the door on Jay and slumped to the ground in tears.  I couldn't help it. I still loved him but I couldn't let anyone hurt me again. I pulled out my phone and called Danielle asking her to come over. I then walked upstairs and washed my face to remove the smudged makeup.

After a few minutes there was a knock at the door. I stumbled down the stairs and opened the door revealing a smiling Danielle.  Her smile dropped as.soon as she saw my red.puffy eyes. She stepped forward and engulfed me in a hug.

"Sophie what's happened?!" She questioned.

"Jay cheated on me." I cried.

"WHAT!" She shrieked pulling away from the hug as to not hurt my ears. I began to sob again and she hugged me. 

We spent the day eating chocolate and watching chick flicks.

I later received a text from my mum and dad telling me they wouldn't be back for a few more days. This made me start to cry a bit. I know it sounds stupid but I just don't want to be alone right now. Danielle saw me crying and suggested that she stayed with me.

"Are you sure?" I asked her still sobbing.

"Yeah of course!" She reassured me. I will go tell Max, pick up some clothes and ask Nicole to come round too?" She asked me.

"Yeah please." 

"Okay I won't be too long. See you!"

DANIELLE'S POV

I walked into the house and slammed the door shut. Everyone's head whipped round to see me stood there. I sent Jay a dirty look and walked up the stairs and pick some clothes out of the draws. I through them into a bag Max came walking up the stairs and lent on the door frame.

"Whats wrong? Have I done something?" He asked worried.

"No! Of course not! Jay cheated on Sophie last night and I told her I would go stay with her for a few days. You don't mind do you?"I told him.

"No of course not! Oh my god I can't believe he did that!" He replied.

"He was drunk." I said shrugging.

I walked down stairs five minutes later and walked over to where Nicole was sitting hugging Nathan.

"Sorry Nicole but can I talk to you?" I asked her.

"Of course you can!" She said as she stretched and stood up.

We walked into the kitchen and I explained to her what had happened.

"Oh my god serious? Is she ok?" She asked me.

"Not really. Will you come stay with her with me?"

"Yes! Defiantly! Let me just go grab some stuff and say bye to Nath." She told me. 

She walked up the stairs into the room she was sharing with Nathan and I assume picked some clothes from the closet.

I sat on the sofa with Max while I waited for Nicole to reenter the room. Whilst I sat hugging Max and watching the game I refused to make eye contact with Jay once who was sat opposite me and kept glancing up at me, waiting for me to say something about Sophie.

A few minutes later Nicole came walking down the stairs with a duffle bag sat in her elbow. She walked up to me and tapped me on the shoulder.

"Ready to go?" She asked me.

"Lets get moving" I smiled. We hugged each of the boys and when we reached Jay Nicole walked straight passed him. I stood in front of him, looked up and slapped him hard across the face. His hand flew up to the spot where I had slapped him clutching his cheek. I then picked up my bags walked out of the house and took a quick glance back inside seeing a red hand print stained on his face.

We drove back to Sophie's together, trying our best to cheer her up.
