Luffy X Reader

"Oi, Sanji! I want food!"

I just watched him get mad from across the table wondering why i fell in love with an idiot like him. Everyone knew i have feelings for him except HIM.

"Just sit there and wait! It's almost done."

"Hurry up! I'm hungry!"

Not in the mood, you headed for the door. Ignoring your nakama.

"Oi, (y/n) where are you going?"

"Hey!"

"(y/n).."

You closed the door behind you and went to the deck. You looked up staring at the stars. It feels relaxing, makes you wanna stay there forever.

Moments later, you hear 2 feet walking towards you then stopped. Whoever it is, he or she is behind you. Guessing that it wasn't Luffy, cause he never leaves the table until there's no food left, you felt like it's okay to open up.

"I don't want this anymore.." you said without looking back. "I just wanna get rid of this feeling. I can't take it. I can't look at him without getting hurt. I... I want to... leave."

You heard something fell on the floor. You ignored it thinking that what you said will shock everyone. He/she didn't say anything. You started to feel tears running down your cheeks.

"I'm sorry. I just want to let go.. I don't want to feel it anymore. No matter how hard i try, he won't realize it. Heck! I did tell him already that i like him but he didn't take it seriously! I hug him all the time, i kiss his cheeks, i hold his hand, i play with his hair.. but he still doesn't get it!!"

You buried your face in your hands. You can't stop the tears from falling. It just came out like waterfalls. You still don't hear anything from the person behind you. You tried to wipe away your tears and smile even though you're not facing him/her, you tried to be calm and cool.

"Hehe... I'm sorry i blurted out like that. I just.. i just felt like i need to let it out..." Still silence. "You can leave me alone now. You probably think i'm so cheesy and selfish and dumb."

"Not at all."

Suddenly, you felt two arms wrap around your waist. Your eyes widened with the sound of his voice. It was Luffy. You're face turned into a shade of red knowing that he's been there all this time and that he's hugging you at the moment.

"I'm sorry." He hugged you tightly. "I'm sorry i didn't realize it sooner. I... I thought you liked me as a friend but it was more."

He pulled away slowly and you turned to face him. His tears are flowing down on his cheeks. You hate seeing him like that so you quickly took the handkerchief in your pocket and started wiping his tears. He looks confused at first but then gives you a warm, loving smile. He pulled away your right hand from his face with his left hand, he puts the other in your waist pulling you close.

You can't keep up with what's happening. You can't believe that he's face keeps getting closer and closer. You finally came to your senses when you touched each other's foreheads. Before he could kiss you, you put one finger on his lips making him stop. You then put your hands on his cheeks, smiling at him. Your heart is beating fast and you just have to tell him...

"I love you so much, Luffy."

He smiled at you and slowly locked his lips with yours. You put your left hand around his neck and pulled him closer, kissing him passionately.

He pulled away, moments later, and looked into your eyes. You felt like his gaze can see right through your soul. He intertwined your hands and placed the other on your cheeks. His smile is reaching your heart but the one that makes your entire body melt is that when he tells you in a deep, melting voice...

"I love you more, (y/n)."

It was perfect. Everything in the world seems right. He finally realized my feelings for him. And he felt the same way.. Oh i wish time would stop so we can stay like this forever.

"Wooooo!!!! Way to go, Luffy!" Usopp

But we all knew that scenes like this would end quickly.

"I'm happy for you, (y/n)!!!!" Nami

"Waaah!!! That was SUPER romantic! And i'm not crying!!" Franky

"(giggles) looks like you're not going anywhere, am i right? (y/n)?" Robin

Luffy and i let go of each other and turned to our friends. I gave them a huge smile and nodded my head.

"I will never ever again think of leaving this crew." i said happily.

I looked over to Luffy who seems to be blushing all over. His face as red as a tomato. I giggled.

"Oi, Luffy. Are you okay?"

His face looked like it was gonna explode at any moment. He quickly backed away but slipped and fell, smashing his face on the floor. I thought about why he slipped instead of helping him up. Then i saw a bone rolling on the floor.

'So that's what fell on the ground earlier...'

I smiled, giggled, and then laughed out loud. Luffy sat up and looked at me but i continued to laugh. He smiled and started laughing as well, followed by our crewmates.

It was just so perfect earlier that i never thought about it. I almost forgot... I'm in love with an idiot.
