Law: Lost memories pr. 2

YOUR POV

"Captain!" Cried Bepo "I see an island! Should we go up?"

"Yes" said Law

I was sitting near them eating a sandwich shachi and penguin gave me. It's only been a month since i joined this crew but everyone seems to be so caring towards me. Especially, the captain.

He turned to me and held out his hand. I grabbed it and he pulled me up. He told Bepo to ascend the ship and we left. Law led me to the deck and once the submarine has ascended, Law opened the door and there we saw a beautiful island of paradise. The others quickly ran and jumped out of the submarine when it came near the ground.

" (y/n)!" I turned around to see Shachi and Penguin running towards me. I want to give them a hug but captain here won't let go of my hand.

"Did you eat your sandwich?" Asked Penguin

"Yes. Thanks for making it for me!" I smiled at both of them and their cheeks turned into a shade of red.

Without letting go of my hand, Law gathered everyone and gave them tasks. It's either bring food or gather supplies. Then everyone went out and we are the only ones left in the sub. We sat down, i looked at him a bit confused.

"Have you..." he turned to me "remembered anything yet?" He asked.

I shook my head. He nodded and looked up in the sky. He seems to be a bit depressed. So i sat on his lap and rested my head on his shoulder hoping that it might cheer him up a bit. He put his other arm around me and squeezed my hand with the other.

"I don't know what to do to make you remember." He said. His gaze still up in the sky. Is there something important about my past? Why does he keep bringing it up?

"Is there.. something important that i need to remember?" I asked him.

He closed his eyes and shook his head slowly. "Nothing much."

We stayed quiet for a few minutes when i finally asked. "Is there.. something you want me to remember?"

That question made him squeeze my hand tighter. I even heard my knuckles crack. Anyway, he opened his eyes and looked down at me. He placed his forehead on mine.

"I want you to remember me." He said. His voice soothes you.

I smiled and cupped his cheek. "Must i really need to remember everything?"

"No... i just.." he looked down and turned away from me. His grasp loosening.

I then put my arm around his neck and intertwined my other hand with his. I kissed his cheek softly.

"Can't we.. just start a new one?" I asked. I put away his spotted-hat so that i can get a good look of his face. His cheeks are red and his lips are trembling.

"You look handsome." I teased.

"Shut up." He murmured.

I giggled. "You know, captain. It's only the memories that are gone." I let go of his hand and cupped his cheeks that made him face me. "The heart never forgets." I whispered.

His eyes widen a bit. I felt his hand wrap around my waist while the other is on the back of my head. I can tell that he's trying to kiss me.

"Are you trying to kiss me?" I asked jokingly.

"Maybe." He said finally letting out a smile.

He slowly crashed his lips into mine, kissing me passionately. I kissed him back. It took longer than we expected. I pulled away, both of us are breathing heavily.

"I think you could say that... that was my first kiss." I said. We both laughed kissed each other again and again and again.

"I love you (y/n)"

"I love you more captain"
