Kidd x reader: pt. 2

Killer's POV

It's been a week since (y/n) and captain fought. A lot has changed since then, especially (y/n). She used to be so energetic, so happy, so enthusiastic, and look at her now. She just stays in her room all day, staring into nothingness. The whole crew already got attached to (y/n) ever since the first day she became part of the crew, maybe because she's not afraid of us and she treats us all like normal people and because of that, everyone is worried about her. The whole week has been dull and awkward for everybody, it's hard to laugh and joke around without (y/n) and captain became much much more arrogant. Seriously, what's wrong with these two?!

I went inside (y/n)'s room with a tray of food in my hands. She's sitting on her bed, looking out the window, she seems to be in deep thought so i just placed the tray on the table near her bed and attempted to go out when she called my name.

"Hey, Killer.."

I turned around. "Yeah?"

A slight pause. "Is captain.. still mad at me?"

She's always rejected and she got punched in the face and yet she still loves him. Answering with a 'yes' is the most believable answer but i don't want her to feel more depressed, if i say 'no' she'll think i'm lying.

"I honestly don't know (y/n)." i've got nothing else to say. She continued looking out the window, no expression on her face. Ugh... man. It kinda hurts.

"I'll leave now. Please take care of yourself (y/n)." I kind of want to hug her but... nevermind. I went out of her room and closed the door. I sighed. How long is she gonna stay like this?

"Killer!"

"huh? what?"

"captain wants to see you."

He does? "Alright."

I opened the door to captain's room. "You called me, captain?"

He's sitting on his bed, his eyes are shadowed, his arms resting on top of his knees and his hands are clasped together.

"How is she?" he whispered.

I sighed again. "She's still in her room, sulking." he didn't move. "Are you still mad at her captain?" his hands clenched but he didn't respond. "How long will you stay like this? why can't you just tell her you love her too?"

He does. I don't know why he keeps on rejecting her.

"You know, captain, while you're ignoring her, someone else is begging for her attention. All of us has feelings for her but you're the one she chose. If you keep on doing this, she'll be gone and one day her heart will stop calling your name."

I heard a knock from the door and it opened, one of the crew stood at the doorway. "We're approaching land, captain."

I looked back again at Kidd, he's still not moving from his position so i figured that i should take over while he's still in that phase. What will come of these two?

You're still looking out the window, thinking. "I need to get out of here."

Kidd's POV

Have i really been too harsh on her?

I know to myself that i'm not in love with her. I get irritated whenever she's around, i always want her to stay away from me, i wanted her to leave the crew, honestly. But there's this weird thing that makes me not wanna kick her out. I can't understand it, i don't know it. It's like there's something inside me that wants her to be close, to be near, to stay sweet, happy, energetic even though it's annoying as hell.
